Obama's State of the Union themes seek to boost Democrats in November

Washington (CNN) – Equal pay for women, raising the minimum wage, immigration reform, combating climate change and virtually swearing off extended wars.

All are catnip for the political left, and all were highlighted by President Barack Obama this week as he informally launched the November election campaign for 36 Senate seats and a new House of Representatives.

"All are catnip for the political left"

CNN one step closer to showing outright hostility towards liberals.

Just great... Obama, the Campaigner-in-Chief out campaigning for the 6th year in a row. Meanwhile the country continues its decline at his hands. I wonder why he isn't talking about how great the ecomony is and pointing to the dropping workforce (lowest since Jimmy Carter) that has given the illusion of a lower unemployment rate?

Nope, it's back to the divisive divide and conquer BS we have seen now for 5 years and will see for another 3 years But I doubt any of these fake issues will be able to compete with the millions of Americans that will losing their healthcare plans thanks to the Liar of the Year.

"The Democratic-fueled accusation of a GOP "war on women" gained traction with infamous missteps by Republican candidates such as former Rep. Todd Akin of Missouri, who claimed that women rarely get pregnant from "legitimate" rape."

Yeah, it has absolutely nothing to do with a massive resurgence of anti-abortion laws and votes all designed to try to take away women's reproductive freedoms and access to clinics. Especially not that, because we certainly wouldn't want to draw attention to such concrete proof...no no...it must be presented as just about some of their gaffes so it comes across as petty and just partisan opinion. And, of course, we'll have to avoid talking about all their the GOP/Teatrolls' legislative and litigious nonsense with respect to contraceptives, trying to let employers and religious viewpoints dictate women's access to them. Bullet dodged...successfully avoided providing inconveniently true facts that prove things and instead just painting it all as just partisan squabbling not to be taken seriously because "both sides do it" and "both sides are equal."

Talk is cheap and getting cheaper! Get your hands dirty Mr. President and start negotiating with the GOP. Campaigning to make yourself feel good is not a strategy!

I support the Democrat Party. Because it is OKAY to blatantly lie to the country:

    You can keep your policy...
We have successfully negotiated with Iran...
It is not "my" red line...
The NSA does NOT spy on US citizens...
Every family in America will see $2500 in annual savings with Obamacare
    The economy is doing great!
The IRS did not target political groups
It was only a spontaneous group of protestors upset about the YouTube movie
We have shovel ready jobs for Anerica

Obama, the regime of truth. Period.

President Obama has never been Americans problem........ He's the solution. He needs to work with GOP support, but so far this support is not forthcoming. It looks funny that among the entire Obama critics, non has ever suggested what Mr. President would do that would not hurt US public, to gain GOP support.
These GOPers are embellished /decorated with hate politics and legislative logjams......... They are the problems.
