Affairs - foreign and otherwise - surround Francois Hollande's state visit

(CNN) – When French President Francois Hollande flew to Washington this week for a state visit, he brought along a lot of baggage - and it's not his country's famous Louis Vuitton.

Hollande left France amid sinking popularity ratings and swirling reports that he cheated on his partner of seven years with a younger movie actress - making this week's trip something of an escape for the embattled president.

Who doesn't want to avoid the problems of home? I can understand wanting to avoid the negative stories.

    Oh please.
When did the French become so morally righteous?

Looks like cnn temporarily suspended your "posting" visa as you're answering yesterday's question today (wink!).
We care about the unusually firigid temperatures that some of us are being subjected to. You are a part of us (US).
Certainly more than we do about the moral (or inmoral, if you want to judge) shenanigans of the French president and his over-priced luggage!
    N'est ce pas? Mai oui!
