Read: Unearthed documents reveal Hillary Clinton's feelings about Lewinsky scandal

(CNN) - The personal writings of Diane Blair, a close friend and longtime confidant to Hillary Clinton, give insight into the former first lady's views on the Monica Lewinsky scandal, single-payer healthcare and foreign policy.

These 40 documents are just a sliver of the more than 109 boxes of documents that Blair's family donated to the University of Arkansas.

Forget the Lewinsky nonsense. I want her to continue to drive the health care reform to the next level. That sounds way more important. Liberals look forward. Conservatives dredge up debunked conspiracy nonsense from the past to keep a powerful woman from becoming to uppity.

They involve Hillary and Bill Clinton, both public figures. Is the press only supposed to report certian things and not others? What is your issue?

Ok I'm confused. How exactly was Hillary supposed to feel about it? Invite her over for tea and crumpets?? This is beyond ridiculous. An almost 20 year old indiscretion by her husband is all of a sudden its news again? I say bring it up daily and you will find that many care even less now than they did before.

The GOP is running scared of Ole Hill.....

Just insights into the Clinton's. The Clinton's are Liberal Big Government types. A view into the sinking fortunes of the U.S. and a return to the 1930's.

Let's let Hillary remind all the conservatives that Obamacare was the GOP's answer to Hillarycare back in the 1990's. Getting everybody to sign up for private insurance was a Heritage Foundation idea pushed by Bob Dole. Let's hear about Hillary's thoughts on single payer. We can go a step further and do the math. I think we'll see it would save all of us a lot of $$ but so called fiscal conservatives are dead against it.

What we should expect from the GOP over the next couple of years is a long string of lame attempts to drum up controversies. They're desperate to avoid any substantial policy discussion because will make it glaringly clear that they have nothing to offer.

Yet another reason Hillary would make a lousy president. Not only more arrogant than Obama, but possibly more vindictive, too.

Why do Republicans even bother with super PACs? CNN distributes their campaign messages for free. This site's political news is honestly becoming Fox-like.

I believe she was asking the significance of these revelations. This is something that happened 20 years ago. Hillary and Bill have moved on from this and so should America. It really had no effect on how well Bill ran this country and it shouldnt have any effect on how well Hillary will either.

Where is that looney republican senator from KY? I am not used to a Hillary story without his picture.

Hector – Ever read about the republican economic policies that lead to the Great Depression? I believe they called it Hoovernomics. Little Bush decided that he would devote his presidency to the second and third term of Herbert. The result was the Great Recession and loss of 8 million jobs in 2008.

Dean – Using her reaction to the ML incident is kind of a stretch into what type of president Hillary would make, even for a wingnut, don't you think?

Did you ever notice how strength and power in a white man is called bold leadership, but here we have "arrogance" and "vindictive".

The only reason we're still talking about this is because Rand Paul thinks that Bill will do something foolish while Hillary is president. If Bill hasn't been caught doing something foolish now, then he isn't going to be unless it is really bad thing.

You are completely WRONG, I did a large research paper a year or so ago and the causes had pretty much nothing to do directly with Bush, it actually was caused by more policies Cliinton passed such as the fair housing act in addition to some policies before he was in office (I think they were passed by Bush Sr.). This came from schollarly reviewed journals so the sources are pretty reliable. But I don't expect someone like you to do actual research, all you do is tout the party lines fed to you by MSNBC and CNN and name call everyone that does not agree with you!

"Did you ever notice how strength and power in a white man is called bold leadership, but here we have "arrogance" and "vindictive"."

S-xist double-standard on full display. Faux is even misrepresenting what was in a memo done by Bill's political team in 1992, saying it "portrays" her as "ruthless," when instead what it was really saying is that the same qualities voters found presidential or "slick" in Bill, they saw as "ruthless" in her, i.e., the voting public was applying a s-xist double-standard. Faux and CNN are clearly enamored with the idea that, since the GOP/Teatrolls currently lack a 2016 candidate that can be easily inflated and propped up to replace Christie in order to manufacture a credible "horse race" narrative, their only option now is to try to smear and attack HRC with completely irrelevant nonsense...or by trying to tear her down by somehow sullying her with Bill's behavior....to bring her down, because the GOP/Teatrolls really don't have someone the MSM can "bring up" to her level.

ok..spin spin spin….reminds me of the clinton years in the white house…and then Benghazi. Why would anyone want these two back in OUR white house? Drain this swamp!

We're talking about the GOP/Teatrolls here and their right wing propaganda machine...Faux, and now CNN with their growing pandering to right wing nonsense over the past couple years. These are the type of people who believe Obama was at fault for the horrible delays in responding to hurricane Katrina...even though Obama wasn't POTUS at the time. Give these MSM goofs another week of broadcasting the GOP/Teatrolls attempts to smear HRC with the Lewinsky thing, and we'll no doubt be seeing reports on Faux and CNN that HRC was the one having relations with Lewinsky.

This reeks of desperation. How strong is she, well this is a twenty year old story, and her behind the scenes private conversation was rather tame considering. One might say she showed the control and dignity worthy of public office, the gop knows nothing of that.
