GOP investigation says White House didn't recognize Benghazi threat

Washington (CNN) – A congressional investigation into the Defense Department's response to the deadly attacks in Benghazi, Libya, found that the Obama administration failed to protect the compound and recognize the severity of the deteriorating security situation.

For the partisan report, the investigative arm of the Republican-led House Armed Services Committee pored over thousands of pages of classified and unclassified written material, witness testimony and classified briefings to piece together the events of September 11, 2012, that killed four Americans, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens.

When it's a bipartisan report, I'll care. Until then, it's just more whining and kvetching by Republicans who will find any excuse to bag on the president. It is so old and tired, just like most of the Republican party.

That's true..........but it goes way beyond that.

This is simply shameless, anything to discredit her, and I mean anything. Are four Americans more important than four thousand? Of course not, but here it is. And the rwnj lie about it, oh they were lied to, and, drums voted for it too, lame. Even the gop avoids this conversation at all costs, they think if they ignore it everyone else will too, sorry, not this guy.

"But I do believe that it created/bought the only grassroots movements that conservatives can lay claim to: the Teabagging Birthers."

I can't say this is a claim ANY Republican ought to hold dear to their heart. It was a gamble that fell short, whether or not CNN and other media outlets will ever admit to their complicity. The fallout has been extreme for the future of the Grand Old Party.

Did the GOP report allude to the 3000 killed on 9/11/01, because of ignored intelligence, the 13 embassy attacks with over 50 dead from 2002-2008, the 4500 soldiers killed in unnecessary wars, the 45 thousand wounded soldiers, the hundred thousand civilians who were killed in a war of choice? GOP is the most worthless elected welfare abusers in history.

This is true. This administration was concern about winning a 2nd term. Now they are dealing with the Obamacare fallout and they are in trouble.

Democrats are clearly two-faced in all of this. Even the Democrats on the panel admit that the Obama administration ignore the signs and did little to help. Sad state these Democrats are in.

Hillary and the Democrats pushing for her in 2016 will not be able to change the narrative on this. 4 Americans died on her watch, and they did nothing to help.

Good. They have finally released a report. But, is it the final report so that we can finally move on from Benghazi?

Whatever the CIA was donig in Benghazi, it would not surprise me to learn that McCain blazed the trail. I cannot forget about his secret trip to Benghaz,i at the height of the Libyan unrest against Kaddafi, to meet with "rebels" that needed U.S. help in toppling the government.

The gop portrayher as treasonous, yet she's miles ahead of their best, and they never even question it. And, how's that post election autopsy going? They just can't change, all efforts are to mislead, deception is critical for them.

If they didn't explicitly, they certainly were trying implicitly. Much of their nontroversy fever has been designed as "how do you like it?" revenge for all the things Dubya was accused of. They're feeding the MSM the false equivalency "data."

Wouldn't it be nice if this do nothing Republican Congress put all this energy into job creation instead of dragging this Bengazhi incident on ad nauseum. All questions have been answered but these tea bags have nothing better to do. If you want an investigation how about holding Bush/Cheney accountable for the Iraq debacle!
