Obama administration developing automated system to measure payments for Obamacare coverage

Washington (CNN)  - It's one data point Obama administration officials have yet to disclose: just how many new Obamacare enrollees have actually paid their premiums.

As the Obama administration released its latest enrollment figures Wednesday, officials broke down some of the demographics on consumers who are signing up for coverage. But White House officials have so far not provided data on how many people have sent in their payments to activate their plans.

The former Alaska governor, who resigned during her first term, suggested the New Jersey Republican should have been aware of the scandal that's now roiling his administration.

N.Y. poll: Cuomo trumps Trump in possible showdown

(CNN) - New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo tops Donald Trump and another potential GOP challenger this year by 2-1 margins in possible November showdowns, according to a new poll.

And a Quinnipiac University survey of New York voters released Thursday also indicates that more than six in 10 approve of the job the job their Democratic governor is doing in office, with 59% saying Cuomo deserves to be re-elected this year to a second term in Albany.

Senator criticizes debt ceiling filibuster, then votes to filibuster

Washington (CNN) – Republican Sen. Dean Heller voted to filibuster the bill to raise the debt ceiling Wednesday, after telling CNN the night before that he did not support fellow Sen. Ted Cruz’s plan to do the same.

“Well, I don't think it's right, because at the end of the day, we're going to pass a clean debt ceiling increase, with Ted or without Ted's support, with my support or without my support,” Heller told Van Jones on CNN’s “Crossfire” Tuesday night.
