Obama, Putin 'exchange views' on Ukraine in phone call

(CNN) - President Barack Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin "exchanged views" on the need to quickly implement the political agreement reached on Friday in Ukraine and for all sides to "refrain from further violence."

A White House statement said the two leaders spoke by phone and also discussed Syria, including the "importance of efforts to advance a political solution" to the civil war.

Obama: “Your supporting a brutal regime and the massacre of innocent unarmed civilians in Ukraine”.

Putin: “Your supporting a brutal regime and the massacre of innocent unarmed civilians in Egypt and Bahrain”.

I enjoy reading a little propaganda in the morning. Only the Obama administration could get away with telling our media what to say and how to say it, without being questioned.

Really? Typical Obama has been a non-factor here. The agreement in the Ukraine was brokered by the Europeans. The White House feel is so left out that they had to make a statement.

The best thing in both places is to leave those places alone to fight out their differences! Sometimes you just have to let people fight it out!

now that's funny obama speaking to Putin. We have Russia doing business in Iran (along with the Uk,France, and Germany) while obama…. Seems Putin has stepped up as the leader of the free world. Wonder how long it will be free. We need some adult leadership in America, fast!

As if Putin cares what Obama has to say. Putin would eat Obama for lunch. Obama speaks and the world laughs. What an embarrassment.

Putin is the KGB thug he always was and is. He and the thug in Ukraine will continue to make people's lives miserable because that is all they know. Putin has been in power for over 10 yrs and won't give it up easily and will always be an evil influence behind the scenes. The way Syria is now is a prime example of Russia's complacency and outright support of thug control and death for Muslims.

Sad. The number of people posting here with absolutely no idea of the conversation or it's outcome, yet the negativity from their spitting spattering lips is such that one would believe they were on a party line, hanging on every word. A person reading would be inclined to believe they care. They don't. They are intent on being heard, they just want to sound off in the negative so they don't sound weak. It's worse than weak, it's emaciated.

Republicans, want to tell you what to think, and what to say. They are reliant on the news media to broadcast their desires, and make sure you knuckle under. They will also tell you it's for your own good. The violence in the Ukraine, is playing to their tune as well. They'd love to see a civil war here in the states. It sells papers, and media time. The republicans, are just as guilty if not more guilty that the leadership in Russia. All they care about is power and authority. The same traits they find deplorable in a Russian.
