In South Carolina, Clinton forces try to tap Obama magic

Columbia, South Carolina (CNN) – To hear some tell it, the 2008 South Carolina primary clash between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton was a few steps away from a full-blown race riot.

"It was unbelievable down here in 2007 and 2008," said Bridget Tripp, a Democratic organizer from Lexington who supported Obama in that year's primary. "Bill Clinton was going through downtown Columbia calling Barack Obama a racist."

Well, so many thing so many ways during the fight we all say. Quit these GOP made factions. Now this nation is recuperating from the blows of Reagan, Bush nonsense. Yes, on Hillary16.
PS: Bill left 600 billion surplus. Stop bickering on nonsense. I think USA eats too much fat, red meat–stop it, o.k.

"She is well-positioned," Hodges said of Clinton. "There is no obvious alternative in the Democratic Party. I just don't see anyone emerging right now who would cause her problems if she runs."
    ------------------------------------–
Sorry, I'm not on the HIllary bandwagon. Democrats need to groom some other names as possible alternatives. At the very least, Clinton will need a running mate, preferably one with some natinoal name recognition. Democrats never seem able to , or even desire to, think or plan for enough into the future. Conservatives have strategies that literally span decades.

It never got that bad, of course. But in the runup to the contest and in its aftermath, the Clinton campaign scrambled to explain away comments that rankled the black community: Hillary Clinton seeming to downplay Martin Luther King Jr.'s role in passing the Civil Rights Act, Bill Clinton's biting characterization of Obama's campaign as "the biggest fairy tale I've ever seen" and a range of remarks from Clinton allies that seemed to belittle Obama's achievements.

bill clinton was a very good judge of obama. everything he said has turned out to be true. the only thing he missed was obama's pathological lying and incompetence and that his administration would be composed of the most incompetent group ever assembled to run this country.

Geez, almost all of those pictures about Hillary Clinton's "career" are just pictures of her at some event where she was not the main focus. Hillary Clinton, the Forest Gump candidate.

The people that brought out the guns ( using racism) was the Democratic party, that wanted Obama to win. They were so sure that their agenda once Obama was in office would run the country. Sorry to say they made a huge mistake with Obama, for he had his own agenda followed with his enlarged ego. Hillary should have bee/will be the President finally.

Hillary Clinton will be the Republican Tea Party's biggest nightmare in 2016 when she finally smashes the glass ceiling into a million pieces.

Bill Clinton is not running in 2016, and neither is Barack Obama. Perhaps, not even Hillary Clinton. So, instead of spreading negativity through derogatory language, why don't you tell us about what Republican is capable of being a credible challenger.

Sure try and turn blacks against Hillary Foxlite. It may work on the uninformed and uneducated but it won't work here. The dems could run Lucifer and he would get my vote before ANY of the GOP candidates, that pretended to be upset by Ted I crapped my pants to get out of serving Nugent, while secretly agreeing with everything he said.

Gunny – Corker violated his oath of office and lied about VW not opening an SUV plant if they voted for the union. The Tennessee state legislators threatened to take away VWs tax exemptions if the workers voted union. VW did not care if the workers organized, as their German workers are paid more. The end result was that republicans did something criminal, and still the vote was 706 to 616. It will happen.

I think to be properly informed, you might have to actually read words instead of just looking at pictures. Her accomplishments as a progressive and advocate for women are easy to find online.

Many of the Founders would not have done well in Bible country either:
“In every country and in every age, the priest has been hostile to liberty. He is always in alliance with the despot, abetting his abuses in return for protection to his own. It is error alone that needs the support of government. Truth can stand by itself.”
