THE MIDTERM MAP JUST GOT BIGGER …

EX-MASS. SEN. SCOTT BROWN TO RUN FOR N.H. SENATE SEAT …
After months of toying with the idea, Scott Brown announced late Friday that he would explore a run for Senate in New Hampshire – the state where he was born and just recently moved back to late last year. Brown, a former Massachusetts senator, sought to highlight his Granite State roots in his afternoon speech noting how New Hampshire brought him happiness during a rough upbringing. And he pledged to hit the New Hampshire roads Saturday and start talking to voters.

“Starting tomorrow morning, and for the next several weeks, Gail and I will be traveling around the state to introduce ourselves, to ask questions, to speak with everyone of every background – Republicans, independents and Democrats alike – and above all to listen to them and learn of their concerns,” Brown said, according to remarks provided by his campaign. It is unlikely that Brown would have an uncontested primary that will take place Sept. 9. The winner of the GOP primary will face off against Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, a Democrat, in November.

TERMINATED …“Scott Brown’s contributor agreement was officially terminated today once he notified FOX News of his intention to form an exploratory committee to run for U.S. Senate in New Hampshire.” - Bill Shine, Executive Vice President, Programming for FOX News

CNN POLL: MOST SEE RUSSIA AS A THREAT TO U.S.
As the crisis in the Ukraine continues, a new national poll indicates that for the first time in more than a decade, more than half of Americans see Russia as a serious threat to the U.S. A CNN/ORC International survey released Friday also indicates that Russian President Vladimir Putin's unfavorable rating among Americans has soared over the past month. And the poll indicates that the vast majority of the public says Moscow's actions in neighboring Ukraine break international law, and half of those questioned say a new Cold War between the U.S. and Russia is likely.

THE BUZZ: OBAMA CALL HIS “MOM JEANS” EPISODE AN ABERRATION President Barack Obama in an interview with radio host Ryan Seacrest: “I’ve been unfairly maligned about my jeans…The truth is, generally I look very sharp in jeans. There was one episode like four years ago in which I was wearing some loose jeans, mainly because I was out on the pitcher’s mound and I didn’t want to feel confined while I was pitching, and I think I’ve paid my penance for that. I got whacked pretty good. Since that time, my jeans fit very well.”

MARKET WATCH: U.S. stocks finish lower. Major indexes lose about 2% for the week, plagued by global economic concerns.

TRIVIA ANSWER from @danadavidsen

Hillary Clinton, who opposed the Vietnam War, said she tried to join the Marines after the conflict ended but was rejected.

In this gem of an article from the 1996 New York Times archives, Maureen Dowd writes that Clinton, at a luncheon honoring military women, said she once visited a recruiting office in Arkansas because she was interested in joining the Marines.

Clinton told the group, gathered at the Dirksen Office Building on Capitol Hill, that she became interested in the military in 1975, the year she married Bill.

Clinton said she was turned down because of her age at the time - 27 - as well as her poor eyesight.

So far what Brown has proven in NH is he is just not that into serving the people. He can run in any state because it does does not matter what the people he represents (laughingly) want, he is only after a job. Living proof of what a career politician represents and how he works. Not only attorneys are shysters.

Massachusetts didn't want you so now he goes to another state. If NH fails where are you going next Vermont. Maine?
Try Florida. Hot weather and their voters re senile because they keep voting against their own best interest. You will fit right in as a politician.

Hey lefties... Scott Brown was BORN in NH and grew up there!!! He has every right to run for office there. He is in no way like that carpetbagger Hillary Clinton. She had ZERO ties to NY. Ironically she was born in the nation's corruption capital, Chicago. Hmmmm.... who else came from the corruption capital of the USA? Obama.
