Hillary Clinton must once again win over some in Jewish community

Washington (CNN) – Flanked by Jewish politicians in front of the United Nations on a July day, then-Sen. Hillary Clinton made a forceful appeal for the United States to back Israel as the Jewish nation's forces squared off against Hezbollah during the 2006 Lebanon War.

"We will stand with Israel because Israel is standing for American values as well as Israeli ones," said Clinton.

That woman gets uglier everyday, it must be all the lies she tells. Hope she is happy with murdering the Americans in Bengazi.

Does anyone really car4e what Romney thinks? If we did he would be in the oval office.

Romney conveniently talks big but doesn't say what he would do differently...invade Ukraine? Why not invade Russia while we're at it? Let's make sure everyone knows how tough we are. What's a few thousand dead U.S. soldiers? Romney still doesn't get why he wasn't elected. He doesn't exhibit one honest thought in his head, even now when he has nothing to loose....he is still trying to appease the tea party...earth to Romney, you are not running for anything anymore...you can tell the bullies what you really think...or did you just do that?

    Rudy,
Sorry that happened to you. Nobody deserves that type of treatment and it bums me out that it happened and formed your perception the way it did. Totally understandable for you to feel that way I would just hope that you can understand that not every Jew is like that and most would most likely be disgusted by your experience

Thank-you. Unfortunately, you have once again misread the tea leaves and turned something that shouldn't be politically biased into something that is. I guess you totally missed the part where I said that I've learned to ignore it. You missed the forest for the trees, dude.

Quite easy for a Romney to point fingers and bash without offering a single remedy of what he would have done otherwise. He implies some sort of toughness, but diplomacy is a bit more difficult than bullying a long-haired kid or selling-out entire factories.

Romney was right on the money with his prediction that the O was an incompetent community organizer. Too bad the low information voters elected him twice. Even the second worst president (Carter) only served one term. Looks like the low info voters are multiplying.

Worries me when news articles seem to assume that Israel and all jewish people are the same. That's quite a silly assumption.

That being said, J Street gets the thumbs up, AIPAC gets a BIG thumbs down. It is organizations like AIPAC that force Washington to align with stupid, bigoted policies of the Likud party. Never mind that AIPAC was probably silent when the Israeli military bombed the USS Liberty, or when that bulldozer ran over the unarmed American woman. I have my doubts that Hillary will take a balanced approach to any of this!

"He lied about almost everything he said in his campaign. Why should his views now be taken seriously now??"

He has an (R) after his name, but do try not to let the independent thinkers on this blog tell you otherwise.

During the election season Romney warned Obama and his supporters about Russia.

    And he was right.

    Period!

And Romney's foreign policy experience is? Oh, yeah, I guess it is flying first class to Europe and staying in the best hotels. Sorry, my mistake.

Did Romney consider the Bush presidency a foreign policy success? Over ten thousand U.S. troops killed, two wars based on faulty intelligence, and over 300,000 Iraqi and Afganistan civilians killed as "collateral damage." I'd rather see a Democratic failure than another Republican success.

Where did I get political? I just said that I was sorry that people did that to you. When you read your first comment, it's a bit confusing so I misread what you said and thought you harbored some understandable anger. But I didn't get political whatsoever. Not at all. Man can you be condescending.

Let's look at Obama's and Hillary foreign policy failures. Libya imploding, Egypt imploding, Syria imploding, Russia Reset imploding, Ukraine imploding. We have no more allies in the Middle East except for Jordan. and some folks want to elect Hillary.

Romney is just doing what the RNC asked(told) him to do. That would be to use this as an excuse to bash Obama and Hillary. Mainly Hillary because...well....you all know.

I find it difficult to respond to this article, since it would lend credence to the points from a man who was soundly defeated in the 2012 election. However, I will say a couple of things. First of all, he is still shooting from the hip and appears to still be upset, if not angry, over being defeated so soundly by Obama. Secondly, if he is wanting to point fingers at someone for any debacle anywhere in the world which has been addressed by Obama and his administration, he should revert back to his own George W. Bush. It is Bush who instigated the premise from which the current relationship with Putin stems. Bush was never a "soul mate" of Putin. He never got close to Vladimir Putin, as no one can. Putin invaded the Republic of Georgia while Bush was President and Bush allowed that to occur.
Putin has been plotting this whole idea of bringing the old Soviet republics back into the fold of "Mother Russia" ever since he took over. Remember, Putin is a former top military man from the old KGB days. He has followed the writings of many nationalistic writers from Stalin's time. And, he wants to isolate Russia. He has been building Sochi through the guise of the Winter Olympics, and in October, the Formula One GP race. He wants to have places for his oligarch buddies to have as a top, Monaco-like resort.
So, when people begin to blame Obama for his policies of how to handle foreign crises, they should look as to how we got there in the first place, how the crisis developed in that country or part of the world, and finally, how calmly Obama deals with the situation. Attacking first and investigating or talking later, is more like "ready, fire, aim" (which is more akin to the GOP ideology than not).
Finally, Romney needs to wonder why the International Olympic Committee allowed Putin to have his Winter Olympics in a warm climate. What were they thinking? That decision led to Putin using the Olympics as a springboard of distraction or validation for his actions in Crimea, which were occurring even while the Paralympics were taking place in Sochi.
I encourage everyone who is wanting to help make a statement towards the land-grabbing actions of Putin, to write to anyone within the Formula One Management (a web search will reveal the site) and protest their involvement and legitimization of Putin's actions in the Ukraine and Crimea by holding a GP race in the streets of Sochi (ala' Monaco). President Obama and former Secty of State Clinton cannot control Putin outside of economic sanctions since anything more along the lines of military action would lead to war and THAT is NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Romney is a mannequin who dresses well, looks good, and is desperate to please. If he thought he could pull it off, he'd change party affiliation like he changes his wife's Cadillacs, every few months. His next original idea will be his first.

You simply have no idea of the depth of damage done by George W. Bush on the good name of the United States done during his two horrible terms in office. This does not surprise me – Russia has allowed Putin to regain power, and Putin knows it.
