The "Inside Politics" Forecast: Jindal trying to sign up 2016 N.H. Team

CNN's John King and other top political reporters empty out their notebooks each Sunday on "Inside Politics" to reveal five things that will be in the headlines in the days, weeks and months ahead.

1. Jindal, Christie & Paul making big moves in N.H.: As if New Hampshire didn't have enough political news already! Republican Scott Brown's decision to explore a Senate race got him presidential attention this week, but that was hardly the only big political news unfolding in the Granite State. A pro-Hillary SuperPac made a public splash, and three Republicans likely to pursue the 2016 GOP presidential nomination were busy with some private political maneuvering.

2. Cantor trying to revamp GOP image: Speaker John Boehner gets most of the attention when the House GOP leadership is in the news. He is, after all, the nation's top elected Republican. He's also the guy who, albeit rarely, gets to exchange notes with the Democratic President. And the Tea Party wants to fire him. But Robert Costa of The Washington Post tells us to keep an eye on the No. 2 House Republican between now and Election Day.

The House Majority Leader at the Congressional Civil Rights Pilgrimage this year:
Eric Cantor

3. Jeb and GOP governors courting Adelson: Sheldon Adelson is a household name in Las Vegas – and in Republican politics. A mega-donor who proved in 2012 he isn't afraid to spend big in the SuperPac world, Adelson would be a big "get" for any 2016 Republican hopeful. And Maeve Reston of The Los Angeles Times shares news that several of the GOP prospects are heading West to court his favor, with former Gov. Jeb Bush of Florida perhaps getting somewhat special treatment.

4. Using the Pope to help sell Obama's message: Pope Francis doesn't need to buy political ads to spread his message. He's not in the endorsement business, but he is a big advocate for more global government action to address poverty and unemployment. So, as reported to us by The AP's Julie Pace, when President Obama meets with the Pope on his overseas trip this week, the White House hopes perhaps their agenda meshes nicely with the administration's election-year sales pitch back home.

U.S. Catholics in this Pew Poll say Pope Francis is change they can believe in:
Pope Francis

5. Walker facing very close race in Nov.: One election at a time is an oldie but goodie when it comes to political slogans – and lessons. It is Scott Walker's mantra this year. Yes, the Wisconsin governor has conservative fans nationwide, and is high atop any list of 2016 Republican presidential prospects. But we love when David Marannis of the Washington Post joins the program because he mixes keen reporting chops with a historian's calm perspective. He knows Wisconsin, and history, and as such knows that a neck-and-neck re-election campaign for Walker means the presidential chatter will just have to wait.

Gov. Walker's recall victory speech in Wisconsin:

    we know that all this will be about is getting rid of universal healthcare, and maybe sweetening the pot of fooling the american people once again about replacements. give me a second, HA HA HAAA. how did that jobs jobs job worked for us last time in the 2010 elections. i guest these folks are really serious about drowning government in a bath tub for real. i guest they will send fox news out their spreading doom and annihilation, just like they've been doing for the past 6 years. seriously folks, have anyone ever watched fox news and her affiliates, and ever heard them exposing one positive thing about the economy. how the hell can the most powerful news program on the planet, never say anything positive about this economy. we've left from the bottom lespit a few years ago, and have record continuous growth for the past 5 years, and all this fake news program can spew is negativity 24 hours a day. is that border lining treason to try to kill consumer confidence as much as they try to do. am i alone on this or other people seeing what i am seeing. this is why they refuse to hire a single dem host for at least half an hour to shed light on the positiveness going on in our economy. the one propaganda news program which leans left, has joe scarbarow who is a repub, 3 hours every weekday morning. you cannot tell me that one of the world most powerful news network refuse to hire the other side of politics on their program. this is a outrage.

    Come one. Come all. Closing in on the center ring of the Big Top, one of the republican outcasts, doing all he can to become one of the gang. He's got aspirations and delusions of grandeur, but not to be denied he's got stamina. The more he tries, the more they'll turn their backs. Watch and take notes. It'll happen.

    Do these GOP nuts really think any of them can get elected as POTUS? Sadly they do. What a waste of peoples money. You have to actually work is you are President, not just pretend you can run a circus. Not a one of them is not beholden to either the Koch brothers (and other energy corporation hacks) or to that really sleazy Las Vegas slug Adelson. It's like having the Mafia in control of the states they are (trying) to run or controlling the seat they hold. None of them gives a damn about the people of this country and their phony "christian values" may play well at home, but the majority of people around the country know what liars and puppets they are. Fortunately WE are not so easily blinded by phony charm and empty talk. What has any of them done to create jobs, lower unemployment, help the middle class or speak realistically about the money PIT of a defense budget we have? Nothing!!! If the GOP or Tea Party win the White House or Senate I would bet my life that 1. We will be in another ground war somewhere (probably Iran or Syria) by May 2016, 2. Defense will be more contracted out to slime contractors like the old Blackwater and Haliburton before the first boot hits the ground and stocks will hit the roof for arms dealers, private war monger corporations and the Bush, Chaney, McCain, and every other member of any other GOP member in the White house, congress and senate who (already) cheats by dealing stocks based on insider information like they do now only then it would be more wide spread. So go ahead and put organized crime in sheeps clothing in charge of America. You want this country to become a version of NYC back in the 20's – 70's when the mafia ran the city? Go ahead and kiss your rights to Free Speech, freedom FROM forced religion, equality for all and being free FROM forced gun ownership and seeing idiots with an AK47 from walking in to church or just strolling the local park good bye. What the GOP will turn America into is the ultimate dream the NRA already thinks they can create. Another Hitler like government. Freedom and rights will no longer be allowed unless you can afford to buy a politician. So long middle class, nice to have known you. Those making less than a million plus will become part of the new slave labor force the GOP, NRA and people like the Koch brothers and other rich families already employ or need to run their sick little man made version of America. No more will America be the Land Of The Free – it will be the place where only the wealthy can afford to live. All others will be ants under their feet. I smell revolution in the air if a GOP or Tea Party hack gets elected any time soon. Where do I sign up for that fight.

    1. No signs along NH's highways and roads;
    2. Keep your hands off of our babies;
    3. We do not all like you, and some do not want you here;
    4. Pay for your own meals and do not expect that our business owners will buy your meal as a favor;
    5. Avoid town meetings – you have no experience at it and we are embarrassed by your behavior;

    New Hampshire, as a general rule, is usually not very impressed by presidential candidates that dump and run in our state or do not really come from here but expect our votes, nonetheless.

    New Hampshire is not a "bedroom community."

    Leave your taxes and go.

    I ask, do any of these Republic0ns and Teabaggers have any credibility a all?? I would say now, they are all bashing Hillary and this morning on Face The Nation that idiot Monday morning quarterback Liar Romney was doing the same. They reminded me of these Teapublic0ns who are interviewed on Fox Comedy Hour who NEVER answer a question they are asked, they always go into a rant either about Hillary or the ACA. They have ZERO policy ideas, they have ZERO plans for our Country, except to repeal the ACA. I say what a bunch of worthless Clowns, I have a real hard time calling them politicians. I do know IF they ever again get in the White House, only will our Country regret it, the whole World would. They love Wars and there are a couple of reasons for that. First it is to repay their favors to corporations such as weapons contractors and weapon manufacturers, Haliburton. Second is to start one war after another so that they can stay in office for 8 years and they feel that American will take their minds off of their lack of an ability to run our Country. We would be doomed, and their other priority in life and politics is to shove their religious beliefs down ALL American's throats. NOPE we DO NOT need another Republic0n or Teabagger in the White House for many decades. You all see what Bush did, he left us a mess and these Teapublic0ns think that we can clean up that mess in one year, it was so screwed up When President Obama took office, I figured it would take decades before that wrong is made right...

    I have to laugh when I see someone defending ACA. When the costs are up and coverage for premium payers is down. The biggest benefactors of ACA is big Pharma, the AMA, and the insurance industry. NOTHING has been done to bring to light where our health care dollar goes and for what! Oh, and don't forget the expansion of medicaid that didn't happen. This was chicago community organizing (tax grabbing) politics nothing more.

    The fact that 50% of Republicans believe the earth is 6,000 years old and that global warming doesn't exist is just icing on the cake. The GOP is known for despising the poor and the middle class, they give tax breaks for millionaires, hate on and reject (((immigrants))), & they want to control women's bodies, and attack Medicare and Social Security. The REPUBLICANS were able to trick many "not too bright" folks into voting against their own interests in 2010. The coalition of the rich and the stupid, led by the Koch brothers & tea party, are trying the same old tricks: lies and hatred.
    It amazing that after three failed presidencies, Republicans still have no better economic policy than to give more taxpayer money to the wealthy and corporations.

    Hopefully the Latin voters, who the GOP is trying to gain sympathy, can see through this ring-wing trickery!

    There may be better days ahead for Democrats, but, for now, it is the old guys such as Mitch McConnell, John Boehner and the Koch brothers who hold the nation’s future in their hands, “GOD HELP US ALL”!

    No, given the turmoil at home and abroad, I see either Romney or Gingrich running again
    and winning! Obama, Clinton, and Kerry, all
    1970's radicals, have msde not only America, but the rest of the world unsafe! From Oakland to Crimea, their "flower power" has failed domestically and internationally.
    While Obama plots Final Four scores, Ukraine, Syria, and Afghanistan descend into
    chaos! Where is America, they cry!

    Golfing, or demeaning his Office with tv hedonists like De Generis Or others of her ilk. While the real world darkens-and he, Obama, has No Clues!

    He sucks! Racist? No! We have had
    more bad white Presidents, so Obama was just the first bi-racial-who failed! Deal with it!!! He is awful.

    President Obama has not failed. In fact, he has done more to get the U.S back on track than you will ever know. He does not need to brag about every accomplishment. The U.S is safer, the auto industry is doing just fine again, the stock market has hit an all time high, over 16,000. If I recall right, and I think I do, the stock market never got over 10,000 while President George W Bush was in office. President Obama will go down in history as one of the most industrious Presidents, the most loved. And now we have the privilege of getting good Health Care without the worry of being cancelled. Thank you, President Obama, our American Christian President of the U.S.A.

    And, if you want to be precise, our President is a Baptist Christian. :-)
