Washington (CNN) – After a spike in signups on the last day for open enrollment, Obamacare is on track to hit the White House's original target for enrollees, a senior administration official said Tuesday.
How did they do it?
Here’s a look at their final push, by the numbers:
7 million: The original goal for signups by March 31. The administration official said they're on track to reach that goal, despite major technical problems with HealthCare.gov in the weeks following the website's launch on October 1.
400: The number of radio stations that administration officials and their surrogates, including celebrities and athletes, appeared on to promote Obamacare since late February.
80: The number of interviews Senior White House adviser Valerie Jarrett gave to boost the health care law. Chief of Staff Denis McDonough also gave dozens of interviews.
300: The total number of radio interviews administration officials took part in over the last six weeks, the White House said. (That figure includes interviews by Jarrett and McDonough)
5,000: The number of "grassroots” events held by groups supportive of the Affordable Care Act in the past six weeks, officials said.
100: The number of celebrities and athletes who tweeted out pitches for consumers to sign up for coverage.
33 million: The number of views of HealthCare.gov that came from videos promoting enrollment, including the now-famous segment between actor Zach Galifianakis and the President on the website "Funny or Die." Those figures come from White House officials tracking the data.
350 million: The number of Twitter followers reached in the final Obamacare push, with 40,400 retweets produced, White House officials added.
