Poll: Rate of uninsured Americans drops

(CNN) - A new survey indicates 15.6% of Americans don't have health insurance, marking the lowest rate since 2008.

According to a Gallup poll released Monday, the current rate is down from 18% in the third quarter of 2013, which was an all-time high.

Hillary Clinton poses with Pussy Riot members

(CNN) – A photo of Hillary Clinton and members of the Russian pop band Pussy Riot has gone viral, with more than 9,000 retweets on Twitter and over 10,000 "favorites."

Clinton's Twitter account posted the photo, saying "Great to meet the strong & brave young women from #PussyRiot, who refuse to let their voices be silenced in #Russia."

White House counsel set to leave in May

Washington (CNN) - Kathryn Ruemmler, the top White House lawyer who became a key adviser to President Barack Obama, will leave her post in May, a White House official said on Monday.

Ruemmler will return to private practice after her time serving Obama. She has advised the President on a number of delicate issues, most recently the CIA's clash with the Senate over allegations of spying on Intelligence Committee staffers.

Inside Politics: Jeb Bush says immigration is an "act of love"; Will his party agree?

Jeb Bush’s “act of love” vs. President Obama as “deporter-in-chief”: The Republican Party base has recently shown no love for candidates who talk about the need for compassion in dealing with undocumented immigrants.

In 2012, for instance, Mitt Romney used the issue of immigration to distinguish himself from rivals like Rick Perry and Newt Gingrich, who wanted to let the children of undocumented immigrants stay in the country.

So it was a bit jarring over the weekend to hear Jeb Bush say that coming to the country illegally shouldn’t really be viewed as a felony.

"Yes, they broke the law, but it's not a felony. It's an act of love; it's an act of commitment to your family," Bush told Fox News host Shannon Bream at town hall event at the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library Center.

Brown to formally jump into Senate race

(CNN) - Scott Brown is about to make it official.

The former senator from Massachusetts, who's been moving closer and closer to running for the Senate in neighboring New Hampshire, formally tosses his hat into the ring at a campaign event in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on Thursday, CNN confirmed Monday morning.
