Authors to write sequel on 'the next chapter in Clinton's political career'

Washington (CNN) - Even though Hillary Clinton has yet to announce whether she will run for president or not in 2016, two authors who chronicled her years at State are already set to write about the next chapter in the former first lady's political life.

Crown Publishing announced on Tuesday that Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes, the authors of the recently released "HRC: State Secrets and the Rebirth of Hillary Clinton," are set to write another book about Clinton "as she determines her next move."

If she runs, Clinton would instantly become the overwhelming frontrunner for the Democratic presidential nomination, as most polls have her far ahead of all other Democratic challengers both nationally and in many of the key primary and caucus states.

"In this new work, Allen and Parnes will take readers inside the inner-most circles of "Hillaryland" as the clock ticks toward 2016 and Mrs. Clinton's last chance at the presidency," reads a release from Crown Publishing.

The book, according to the release, will examine "the major factors that will come into play in a Clinton presidential run-most notably, the attack in Benghazi, turmoil within the Clinton camps, and the role of Bill Clinton -and the strategies she will employ to try to capture the White House."

Parnes and Allen are both longtime Washington reporters. Allen currently covers the White House and politics for Bloomberg News, while Parnes is the senior White House correspondent for The Hill newspaper.

A title or publication date for the book has yet to be selected.

Although the writing duo's first work became a New York Times bestseller, some reviews knocked the book as a not providing a critical enough look at Clinton's State years.

"There is some new reporting, but it's buried in mixed metaphors and cliché-ridden praise of Mrs. Clinton's brilliance," wrote ABC News' White House Correspondent Jonathan Karl in a Wall Street Journal review. "Mr. Allen and Ms. Parnes appear to have fallen in love with their subject."

Clinton is also working on a memoir about the years she spent as America's top diplomat. Last week, Simon & Schuster, the memoir's publishers, announced the book would come out on June 10, 2014.

The former secretary of state has admitted the writing the memoir has been difficult and at a March event in Montreal, she said reliving her time heading the State Department has been "eye opening."

"Reliving some of what you refer to has been eye opening," she said, "because when you are in the middle of it, you get up every day, you put one foot in front of the other and try to do the best you can."

Like the GOP aren't incompetent. How many GOP'ers have accomplished anything in the last 10 years yet alone yesterday. Sorry the GOP have accomplished one thing make the rich richer. If the public that votes for GOP are satisfied with nothing good for you rock on. Wait until Hillary gets elected POTUS if you think GOP don't like a black President wait until a women tells them what to do. It will be epic. Pete@ hold her purse GOP don't even have anyone smart enough to take out her trash. She might higher them to cut her lawn and water her flowers if they are lucky. See you in 2024 maybe. When is Ted Cruz going home to Canada. He is delusional if he thinks he has a chance at POTUS.

If you uncover your eyes, you can see what's happening. She has had a very wonderful progressive career. You might not like progressive liberals but that is not the same as nothing.

As much as I supported her 7 years ago, looking at that picture it is very apparent that she is definitely showing the strain of the past 7 years and it is not for the best.....if her appearance can change that quickly and dramatically from watching her in the debates with Obama, then I seriously question whether she would be up to 2 years of non stop campaigning and then 4 years as President.............

If Bush was still in the White House, he would have already given Ukraine to Putin, just like he gave Putin Georgia. As for evil men, have you looked at your own political party lately?

    H. Clinton is waiting to see what direction the ACA goes heading into 2016. If the ACA really tanks she probalby won`t run and then will have goofy Biden for the dems. If the ACA goes well and she runs she will win.

"As for Iraq S. H. WAS a very evil man in the region". Then why did W have to lie about the WMD and terrorists to get us there? What do you call a commander who invades the wrong place and causes 1000's of his solders to die needlessly and lies about it?
