Washington (CNN) – Vice President Joe Biden will headline a fundraiser for the South Carolina Democratic Party on Friday, a source familiar with the event told CNN.
Biden, who has kept his name in the 2016 mix even as Hillary Clinton consumes much of the presidential oxygen, will be in the early primary state to deliver the University of South Carolina commencement address on May 9.

Before the speech, he’s hosting a closed-door lunch in Columbia that will raise money for the state Democratic Party, which is marshaling resources to unseat Republican Gov. Nikki Haley in November.
It won’t be Biden’s first time courting party insiders in South Carolina ahead of the next presidential race: He addressed the state party’s Jefferson-Jackson Dinner last year and attended Rep. Jim Clyburn's annual fish fry.

Now is bash Biden time..
Bash Biden? He does a good job of that all by himself.
A penny for your thoughts Joe. But just a penny.
Joe the best...
I love you Joe but......retirement 2016 is right around the corner.
I wouldn't give Biden 2 wooden nickles to rub together to start a fire.
