(CNN) - Arkansas became the latest state to have its ban on same-sex marriage overturned, after a state judge Friday declared the voter-approved measure to be unconstitutional.
Twenty-one gay and lesbian couples were part of a group of plaintiffs challenging Amendment 83 to the Arkansas constitution, saying it violated their federal and state rights of equal protection and privacy.
And another on bites the dust!!
Its just another fine example of a bad day for man kind . Some things are not right or healthy ! Good luck to all you lover lovers .
The Dems want no one in America to be able to defeat anything they do.
Ya know, if gay Americans had all the same rights as straight Americans we'd see a nice reduction in articles like this. C'mon folks, gays are Americans too. They deserve all the basic civil rights as the rest of us. The sun will still come up in the morning if they're allowed to marry. Straights will get married and divorced at the same rate they have been. Kids will still drive parents crazy and Houston will still be looking for a franchise quarterback. We'll all muddle through somehow.
Gays have been around for centuries, get over it!
All these bans against gay marriage are falling like dominos across the states. Good to see that discrimination is discrimination in the eyes of the law...
only some individual rights are allowed by the republicans. This obviously was not one of them. They tell us not to have abortions and no gay marriage but then scream about being allowed to have guns as a God given right. They want government to stay out of our business as long as it co insides with their agenda . Finally some common sense and freedom for all. Vote in the midterms.
