Christie to campaign in New Hampshire for GOP candidate

Washington (CNN) – New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will campaign in New Hampshire this month for Walt Havenstein, a Republican running for his party's gubernatorial nomination, a New Hampshire GOP source tells CNN.

Christie is chairman of the Republican Governors Association, the fundraising and political organization charged with helping to elect GOP gubernatorial candidates.

But the New Jersey governor's appearance is sure to also spark speculation that he is beginning the process of introducing himself to Granite State Republican voters, who traditionally cast the first primary ballots in the presidential nominating process.

Christie is one of several Republicans considering a 2016 run for the White House.

News of Christie's June 20 visit was first reported by WMUR New Hampshire 9.

I can already see the handwriting on the wall. A Christie2016 campaign will go over just as well as Guiliani2008. Christie is preaching to the choir in New Hampshire. He desperately needs some bona fides in the red states.

Glad to see Chris back on the trail. Would love to see him in a shoot-out with Elizabeth Warren in 2016. Two energetic, intelligent, passionate people – as opposed to two dynasty members, Clinton and Bush.
This is an old pic CNN has – Christie's lost a lot of weight.

The day when politics no longer make the front page of any paper, will be a day to rejoice. Lets be realistic, no one out in the thinking peoples world looks forward to seeing and hearing of every move made by any of these political parasites up to and including the elections of 2016. It's sensory overload at it's least, and cruel and unusual punishment at it's worse.

Look the writing is on the wall. People are tired of the Democrats and there goon Obama. People are fed up with the socialist and radicals trying to destroy this country. Deal with it. November we will take the Senate. Then hopeful we can impeach this sorry excuse for a President. One that makes the laws up as he goes along and one that ignores current law. Then all you wacko liberals on here can cry into your cereal.

Who in their right mind would want this guy campaigning for them? He's going end up being indicted on RICO charges.

Besides the many, many willful disregard and breaking of laws, now we have giving aid to an enemy that we are still engaged in conflict with and who are still killing American troops.

They don't need 'grounds'.... they just listen to all their whacko rwnj talk show hosts who spew this nonsense and then they go around screaming and crying that it is in the Constitution. They have no clue about actual facts, a citizen's responsibility, or even what the Constitution actually says (because most of them aren't on a reading comprehension level to get through 'See Spot Run', much less a historical document). They go to Church and their Pastor tells them what the Bible says and then they turn on faux news to find out what the Constitution says.
None of them have a single clue and it is usually best to avert your eyes and walk briskly past them when you see one drooling and mumbling on the street.
Evolution will eventually weed them out.

Ah ... the promise of "if only". Do tell. Has this become a fundraiser theme thought out by none other than Preince Reibus.?

"And what would be your grounds for impeachment? I'm listening.............................."

When have they ever needed 'grounds' for anything? They think they can just make up a story... any story, tweak it around a little bit and shout down the actual facts for a week or two on their propaganda network. Convince all their lap dogs it is true (It must be, Obama is black after all) then they run with whatever lie has had the most polling support among their minions of kool aid drinkers. This goes on until it all blows up in their faces and/or one or more of them go to jail or are charged with a multitude of crimes.
Then they start over by tweaking a new lie.
They don't need no stinkin' grounds....

It's laughable the comments posted. They also show whats wrong with our politics as of late. Whenever a republican comments or plots political strategy, the first line they come up with is impeachment. It's a shame they think this way, but it does offer a path of least resistance, as opposed to trying to work with current administration comings and goings. Then there's the democrats. They adhere to a sometimes fast and loose playbook. They need to remember the molasses in January ability of their counterparts to adjust to, or accept change as inevitable. Neither is right. Neither is wrong, they just don't have the people's best interest at heart when decisions are made.
