From end to end: Rand Paul launches campaign-style barnstorm across Iowa

Omaha, Nebraska (CNN) – Sen. Rand Paul kicks off a three-day swing Monday across Iowa, holding campaign-style events and fund-raisers with local politicians as the potential Republican presidential contender barnstorms the first-in-the-nation caucus state.

Paul's route will take him through nine cities from the state's western border to its eastern edge. The Kentucky Republican will also help the state Republican Party open multiple offices ahead of the midterm elections.

Good. I hope Rand Paul does win the Republican nomination. He couldn't beat the dog catcher in a general election. He is far too much of a radical. He's only pretending to be a conservative with tempered views. His voting record speaks for itself.

Didn't he vote against raising the debt ceiling in 2011? Hasn't he indicated that he would not have voted for the Civil Rights Act back in the '60's? Didn't he have some white supremacist character in a leading role on his staff? Hasn't he indicated that he would eliminate several major government departments? Hasn't he told us that he's against what he calls government handouts: i.e., SNAP, Medicaid, Social Security, Medicare, etc? Didn't he vote to shutdown government in 2013?

--all of these current GOP guys are radicals, linked to Al Queda. Yesterda's Reagan is today's Democrat–except his Trickle-down theory. It is the reason I suggested Criss Christy to join in Democratic Party. Nothing wrong in changing affiliation–quite normal in any democracy.

So it's ok for Ayn Rand, Jr to do absolutely nothing except campaign 24/7? Btw, who exactly is paying for all of this travel? Doesn't he have real work to do?

I'm definitely in the wrong business.....

"Senator Obama voted against every debt ceiling increase,"

Name one time he used it as a hostage and threatened to let the country default on its debts unless he was paid ransom in the form of something extremely ideologically divisive from his agenda wishlist.

Until you can make that case, citing his votes against it is meaningless. It's always been a game of political hypocrisy for both parties, voting against it when the other is POTUS, but neither party, until this GOP/Teatroll House, ever used it as a hostage to try to get things they otherwise could not get through normal legislative process and then caused it to be delayed so long that the country's credit rating was damaged. The whole debt ceiling requiring a vote thing is a political farce in the first place, but until the GOP/Teatrolls took the House in 2010 it was never so abused as a means of trying to deliberately damage the economy in order to blame the POTUS for it.

Coming from a trailer park dwelling welfare recipient like yourself. I'll take that as a compliment.

Rand Paul is THE perfect GOP candidate. He stands for nothing, can't articulate his positions, he flip-flops relentlessly, he doesn't write his own speeches or material, and he has no ability to differentiate between what is good for the GOP, the TEA Party or America.
