A confident Rick Perry hits the road after indictment

(CNN) – Texas Gov. Rick Perry is scheduled to be in court on Friday, but he won't be there. Instead, he'll be testing the waters for a possible presidential run.

Three days after being fingerprinted and having his mug shot taken following his indictment, Perry will begin a series of visits to critical presidential nominating states – a strong indication that the Texas Republican won't let felony charges get in the way of his political ambition.

I can only imagine the things the rwnj would say if a Democrat ignored a court proceeding, and they don't even see it, yikes! Remember rubes, this was ordered by a Republican, get it, of course you don't,... does not compute!!! I don't honestly think there is anything a Republican can do that the rwnj aren't willing to look the other way on, just sad you have to be so immature to support this party.

He probably loses his gun rights because of the indictment....hahahahahaha....

"the Texas Republican won't let felony charges get in the way of his political ambition."

Are you kidding? The Teatrolls consider it a plus. They'll now see him as a victim-martyr of totalitarian gov't abuse even though it was a grand jury of his peers that heard actual evidence and determined that sufficient evidence existed for an indictment, not just some bureaucrat making decisions from behind a curtain. The abject vacuum of civic knowledge in the Teatroll mind will turn him into a hero rather than deter them from supporting him.

This guy is too much, between this, and his sending people to prison, knowing they were innocent, have yo say, he's in for a big surprise on judgement day. He simply has no respect for the law, its just a tool he's used to get, and do, whatever he wants. Google his stint as DA, he should be in jail, just like so many other gop hopefuls, walker, Scott, Christie, and now this clown, what do you people see in these guys? SMH, and honestly wondering why.

Another republicant governor up on charges, under investigation, heading for prison, or indicted on charges and facing prison... running for President.

Do you folks have any non-criminal or sane individuals you could possible consider running?

    Yeah, I didn't think so....

CNN takes on the Democratic Party agenda, then asks what people think, after BLOCKING all input from conservatives.

That is NOT journalism........that is entirely, a propagandist political organization, bent on creating the news, and NOT reporting the news. Many of CNN's reporters are totally biased liberals.......and their reporting is far from HONEST, far from OBJECTIVE, and FAR from TRUTHFUL!

CNN did not used to be, this way. They became this way, when the Democratic Party bought the network.

Why do I have to put this here? This is the ONLY place I can put it, because I am blocked from commenting on CNN, in any section other than the political ticker (where I am also blocked from time to time), and the World News section.

Why am I blocked? Simple........because CNN doesn't want the public to hear the other side's commentary.........which is simply reasonable and thoughtful, and which requires the reader to examine the TRUTH!

There's no frontrunner in the 2016 GOP primary, with no potential candidates polling above 20% in recent surveys
    -----------------------------------------------------
Well maybe this whole little felony charges experience might help set Ricky apart from the other going-no-where GOP wannabes.

Yeah. Getting new glasses didn't seem to do much except maybe add a little debt to his Made in Texas ego. Add this new twist and he's fired up and ready to yee-haw.

The chief thought programmer for the liberal robots (the New York Times) has already thrown the BS flag on the Perry indictment. Come to think of it, so has the Washington Post. The pajama boys are going to be really upset when this case goes nowhere.

The problem with the news surrounding Perry's indictment is that it focuses on his retaliation against Lehmberg.

These articles forget his motivation: Rick Perry gave $10 million out of $13 million from the Cancer Prevention and Research Center to the Abbott and Patrick Texas Governor and Lt Governor campaigns.

This led to prominent scientists quitting their work at the center because the never saw the appropriated funds.

Lehmberg led the investigation on Perry from the Public Integrity Unit, and Perry tried to replace her with one of his friends to stop the investigation. When Lehmberg got her DUI, she plead guilty and went to court to keep her spot.

Rick Perry retaliated by cutting $7.5 million from the Public Integrity Unit because he didn't want to be indicted for stealing money from Cancer Research.

This is why Perry tried to force Lehmberg to leave in the first place and this is why Perry was indicted.

    Look up:

Whether this indictment goes forward or is dismissed tomorrow, it does not change the fact that Rick Perry is an unelectable moron.

All I can say is 'Wow'. You have always been an enchilada short of a combo meal, but your post above really moves you into far right field. CNN blocking conservatives?
Really?!? I see all kinds of whacko posts from conservatives on here and I'll bet a good 35% of my posts get moderated.
The Democratic party bought CNN? Where did you get this news? What 'reliable' news source reported this?

And this part... "Why am I blocked? Simple........because CNN doesn't want the public to hear the other side's commentary.........which is simply reasonable and thoughtful, and which requires the reader to examine the TRUTH!"

This made me laugh out loud. You have never once been 'reasonable' or 'thoughtful' and your 'TRUTH' is about as far from reality as anyone i see posting on here.
    My. my, my....

For those dreaming of Perry in prison whites, forget it! Greg Abbot's first act as governor will be a pardon, thereby ensuring that certain things remain, well, private.

Perhaps you should follow your monikers advise. It is a republican who has pushed this forward. It is obvious to us "leftus" that you don't know what a grand jury is. Try to keep up.

He advised me you were a moron and didn't have a clue what you were talking about and that you were grammar challenged.
So I fired him... that was all I needed to know.
