DNC chairwoman: Walker 'has given women the back of his hand'

(CNN) - The chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee used domestic violence analogies while attacking Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin on Wednesday.

At an event on women's issues in Milwaukee, Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz blasted Walker for his policies, saying he "has given women the back of his hand."

This Wisconsin idiot is just like Bob McDonalds of Virginia. Watch out this guy too. All Republican trash no ethics.

Hmmmm. Former Gov. McDonald and spouse of Virginia just found guilty on several counts. Republicans sure gave that state away.

@tom l, good luck with that. You have to decide which side you can tolerate more.

And now you understand my quandary. I choose the side of the people rather than either of these gangs (dems and repubs) who purport to represent us but really don't.

Women voters take note. 100 years ago you could not vote. That is just a part of the Conservative dream world waiting for you.

Who are you self-righteous hypocrites acting indignant over the woman's language? But it's ok with you when divisive, insulting rhetoric is aimed at those you disagree with? Never a word from any of you then!

Forgive and forget is my motto. Tom I has everyone all worked up today trying to prove to one another they are more independent thinking than he is. Not only are the lefties attacking DWS on her personal appearance, they're disassociating with one another to prove to Tom I what independent thinkers they've become. My respect for Tom I has reached a level of adoring fascination in regards to his remarkable puppet string skills. Undoubtedly this has been a very fine day for Tom I.

She 'IS' the spoke person for the Democratic Party. Hatred, Lies are what Democrats stand for these days. She will say anything against anyone who does not agree with her views and party dogma.

    Well,
Gosh I'm sorry. I never heard of the Koch Brothers until they were mentioned on here. But, if all I read is true, it looks like they are on the right page. I have probably been here before they were. Bill, Ga, it appears you have selective hearing. But when the National debt starts going down instead of up I will give you some credit. Until then you are like all Liberal's, you want to do great things, you just want to do it with other people's money. Those "Other People" would be the people that do all the hard work so you can go to the grocery store and buy your food, maybe with Food Stamps. Where you from originally Bill?

The rules, tom l, were set by the Feds because business recognized that it was in their best long-term interest to have an outside agency regulate them. The same rationale applies, for better or worse, with human behavior. Is every intervention good? Nope, but doing nothing is even worse. All the screaming about a nanny state disguises the fact that our system works better than any other at most things, even while we complain bitterly at having to pay a relative pittance for services that make our lives far better. Anyone who screams about how great things were 100 years ago, or how great it would be for the government to go away, never passed a history class and has never held a real job..

Another corrupt [R] politician bites the dust: Gov. Bob McDonnell of VA.

The real side show to this all-too-familiar [R] circus was the erratic, hateful, and inappropriate behavior of his wife.....now we see what it takes to the a true-believing [R] woman.

A women voting for a GOP candidate these days is as clueless as a Jew voting for Hitler in the 1930s.

You hit the nail on the head there TRTP. It is clear that [R]s wish our country would digress to the "good ol' days" of the 1850s. Their lack of accurate historical perspective is stunning, but not surprising, coming as it does from their intense belief in the empty Teatarded catechisms coming from Goebbl.......errr, I mean, FoxNews.

Former Gov. McDonnell was found guilty of corruption on 11 of the 14 counts, so by beating three, that should give RWNJs something to cheer about. Soon there will be enough republican governors in jail to have an all white basketball team.

News flash...that's what the opposing political party does....ALWAYS and FOREVER... in our system of Govt. Do you have a delusional memory of president Bush, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid in the Capitol Rotunda, arms locked singing Kum Ba Ya???

The Dem leadership hated George Bush and wanted to defeat him in every possible way. The main stream liberal media hated George Bush and wanted to defeat him in every possible way. Grow up Rudy Politics isn't bean ball, but even the candidate in WI is distancing herself from what Wasserman-Schultz said. It is way out of line.

Conservatives, wanting to go back to the 50's.

If this were the case why are they so opposed to raising corporate taxes. In the 50's corporate taxes accounted for over 40% of the Treasury, whereas today they account for less than 10%.

Conservatives, if only reality matched their revisionist history.

    Gundy,

it appears as though you are the one with selective hearing. Its amazing the arrogance that you display, assuming that anyone who disagrees with you must be on food stamps when its clear you are dependent for every thought on someone else. You seem to think that you owe nothing to this country, or anyone else, yet you demand everything. Typical conservative, thinking about your money and nothing about the country that gives you the opportunity to make it. The Kochs are nothing more than landed Gentry: is an aristocracy what this country is about, or is opportunity? The Kochs would just as soon squash you as look at you, yet, here you are worshipping them like the dutiful flunkie you are.

To be fair, she's now apologized for using those words....which means she now also owes every liberal and/or Dem out there a huge apology for having no freekin backbone. Nothing irritates me more than being stuck supporting people who fail to fight and stand up for what they believe in, even if they voiced it with salty language. Grow a pair, Debbie. Had this been a GOPer/Teatroll they'd have doubled down and told everyone criticizing them for it to go drink rubber cement....and they'd have gotten away with it because IOKIYAR. Dems back down and go all jelly-spine in the face of attacks and it only chums the water for the MSM.

Gunderson, thanks for admitting your ignorance. Your problem is that you naively think it stops with the Kochs.

Your Teatard world is designed for simpletons, and so I'm sure it gets rocked every time you read the cogent comments from [D]s here on the Ticker. You posts show that you just flail about in your knee-jerk way, with the sum-total of your substance lying in your worry that the gov't will allow everyone else to take your money. Such stupidity, freely expressed, is a gift..................................

    ............................................a gift to [D] campaigns.
