(CNN) – While former President George W. Bush says he wants his brother Jeb to run for president in 2016, their always-blunt mother said Thursday she feels differently.
“He's by far the best qualified man, but no. I really don't,” she said when asked if her son, the former Florida governor, will make a White House bid.

Washington (CNN) – Almost two months after leaving the hospital, former President George H.W. Bush is beginning to venture out a little bit more. He and Mrs. Bush on Thursday met with former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney at the Bush Presidential Library Center in College Station, Texas. During Bush's presidency Mulroney was one of Bush's closest friends.
The 88-year-old Bush left a Houston hospital in mid-January after a lengthy bout with bronchitis and several complications. He had been hospitalized since November.

(CNN) - Mitt Romney ventured to the Texas hometown of George W. Bush for a fundraising event Tuesday, and sang high praises of the former president's mother, Barbara Bush.
"I've met Barbara Bush a number of times. Is there any mom who's had more impact than that woman? On her husband? On her sons?" the presumptive GOP nominee said in front of the crowd in Midland.

(CNN) – Former first lady Barbara Bush on Monday said she was not a fan of the current presidential race.
"It's been, I think, the worst campaign I've ever seen in my life. I hate it," Bush said at a conference at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. "I hate the fact that people think 'compromise' is a dirty word."

Cincinnati (CNN) - In another sign the GOP establishment is coalescing behind Mitt Romney, former first lady Barbara Bush recorded a robo call for the Republican contender's campaign.
The robo call featuring a brief message from Mrs. Bush began ringing households Saturday in the critical Super Tuesday state of Ohio.

Washington (CNN) - After wrapping up a five day swing through the first in the nation primary state of New Hampshire, Jon Huntsman heads to Maine Monday afternoon to meet with former President George H.W. Bush.
Huntsman is expected to have lunch with former President Bush and first lady Barbara Bush at their compound Kennebunkport.

Washington (CNN) - Politics is serious business - but not all the time.
It's not just Boehner
Former first lady Barbara Bush, in an NBC News interview with her granddaughter - "Today Show" contributor Jenna Hager - said that her husband cries a lot and reminds her of a certain top congressional Republican.
In the interview Monday, President George H.W. Bush began choking up and got teary after he and Mrs. Bush read love notes to each other.

(CNN) – Former President George W. Bush's daughter Barbara is appearing in a new web video in support of gay marriage.
The 20-second spot released Monday is sponsored by the Human Rights Campaign, a civil rights organization that works to achieve lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality.
