Trenton, New Jersey (CNN) – A former campaign staffer for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie testified on Tuesday before a special legislative committee investigating the George Washington Bridge scandal.
Matt Mowers, who now runs the Republican Party in New Hampshire, is the third witness to testify before panel members at the Statehouse Annex in Trenton.

(CNN) - New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said Wednesday he would not raise taxes as his administration quickly tries to find a solution to the budget's massive $807 million shortfall.
The Republican governor said he'll announce his plan to close the gap next week, but insisted tax increases would not be part of the equation.
(CNN) - Gov. Chris Christie argued Wednesday that the George Washington Bridge scandal that has upended his administration will have little impact on his political future and whether he runs for president in 2016.
"I think this will be a footnote by the time any of those decisions need to be made," Christie said at an event in Washington.

(CNN) – New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said he takes fellow Republican Jeb Bush “at his word” that he hasn’t yet made a decision whether to seek the presidency, and says it would be hard to run against him because of their good relationship.
Appearing on his monthly “Ask the Governor” radio program on New Jersey 101.5 on Tuesday, Christie said that it would be stressful if he and the former Florida governor were in the race at the same time for the 2016 GOP nomination.
