DENVER (CNN) - The CNN Grill officially opened its doors Monday morning a the Democratic National Convention in Denver, hosting private breakfast and lunch events.
A few crashers were spotted - including Louis Gossett, Jr., Oprah BFF Gayle King and Time Magazine's Rick Stengel.
Sara the Yellow Lab, our Grill Mascot, spent the afternoon napping under the table.
We'll post some pics soon.
The CNN Grill was already buzzing on Sunday night. The Grill - CNN's all-in-one production and hospitality convention headquarters - is fast becoming the place to see and be seen at the Democratic National Convention.
More than 50 people showed up for the tasting (planned for 25) on convention eve. At the front tables, just a John Elway football toss from the Pepsi Center, were Paul Begala, Wolf Bliztzer, Donna Brazille and Gloria Borger ... and that's just the B's. Blitzer ordered the fruit plate for dessert ... and everyone else at his table followed.
Stay tuned for more from The CNN Grill, including the occassional file from our guard dog and Grill mascot, Sara the Yellow Lab.
