(CNN) - Crossroads GPS, an independent Republican advocacy group, announced a new wave of ads Friday, the second phase of a $20 million campaign focused on government spending and the national debt.
The $7 million ad buy will include a spot on national cable and television stations in battleground and early presidential contest states, as well as state-specific ads targeting Democratic senators, according to the group.
(CNN) - The Democratic super PAC Priorities USA launched a television ad Wednesday in states they deem competitive in the next election, directly responding to an ad from the conservative Crossroads GPS, an independent group founded by Karl Rove.
The 30-second spot from Priorities USA, which according to the group will run for the next two weeks in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, North Carolina and Virginia, calls the Crossroads ad "politics at its worst."
(CNN) – An independent Republican advocacy group announced a $5 million ad buy Friday aimed at influencing Congress as it debates action on issues including deficit reduction and the economy.
Crossroads GPS, an arm of American Crossroads, will launch a national TV ad detailing “the Obama Administration’s failure to improve the economy with its $830 billion stimulus legislation and other policies,” the group said.
Washington (CNN) - One of this election cycle's major third party groups is announcing it will spend more than four million dollars in the next week in its largest media buy of the season spread across eight of the key Senate battlegrounds.
In an effort to help elect Republicans in these races, American Crossroads will spend almost $800,000 in Colorado and $350,000 in Nevada while its affiliate Crossroads Grassroots Policy Strategies (GPS) is buying time in Illinois, Washington state, Missouri, Kentucky and Pennsylvania.
