
Washington (CNN) - The Republican and Democratic fundraising organizations in charge of electing party members to the House of Representatives each raised over $9 million in March, the two groups announced on Tuesday.
The National Republican Congressional Committee brought in $9.3 million last month, ending the period with $27.1 million in the bank.

(CNN) – The latest assault on the Republican budget came courtesy of Martin Sheen in a new video from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee asking Americans to stand against plans to "end Medicare."
Sheen, perhaps best known for his role as President Josiah Bartlet on "The West Wing," talked of his American ideals in the nearly 2-minute long video, armed with the consistent charges made by Democrats throughout the Medicare debate.

Washington (CNN) - House Democrats sent a letter to House Speaker John Boehner on Thursday urging him to "repudiate" conservative radio personality Rush Limbaugh for calling a young woman who appeared before a congressional panel a "slut" and a "prostitute."
On his show Wednesday, Limbaugh disparaged Sandra Fluke, the Georgetown Law student who appeared before House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi's policy committee last week to advocate that women have access to contraceptives.

(CNN) - The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee announced Wednesday it raised $61.4 million in 2011, with $5.3 million raised in December.
While the House Democratic re-election group started last year with $19 million in debt, the DCCC reported it's now debt free, with $11.6 million cash on hand.

Washington (CNN) - In the battle for control of the House of Representatives, both major parties' re-election committees have something to brag about as the 2012 election year nears.
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Tuesday said that they brought in $4.1 million in November, out-raising their GOP counterpart, the National Republican Congressional Committee, by $1 million. The DCCC also pointed out that they out-raised the NRCC for the year by nearly $4.5 million–all of this despite being the minority party in Congress.

(CNN) - Democrats looking to capitalize on voter anger at Congress began targeting Republican incumbents in the House of Representatives Wednesday, saying they were responsible for the failure of the bipartisan super committee to reach a deal cutting the country's federal debt.
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is launching robotic calls to voters in 30 GOP-held House districts, saying: "The super committee failed because Republicans insisted on extending the Bush tax breaks for millionaires and refusing to include a jobs proposal – while ending the Medicare guarantee."

(CNN) - Democrats will begin airing biting radio ads in the districts of 25 House Republicans Monday, claiming the targeted members of Congress are beholden to special interests and have questionable ethics.
The ads, produced and paid for by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, were released to coincide with the one-year point to the 2012 election. Democrats hope to regain control of the House of Representatives next November.

In a push to regain control of the House of Representatives, the fundraising arm for House Democrats raised $6.64 million last month, compared with $3.8 million raised by the National Republican Campaign Committee.

(CNN) - The House fundraising arm of the Democratic Party outraised its Republican counterpart in August, according to figures released by the committees Tuesday.
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee raised $3.56 million, leaving them $3.3 million in debt with $7.77 million cash on hand. The National Republican Congressional Committee raised $3 million in August, leaving them $2.5 million in debt with $11.7 million cash on hand.

(CNN) – The Democratic fundraising arm for the House of Representatives raised more money than its Republican counterpart in July, but the GOP committee holds an advantage in cash on hand, according to their latest reports.
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee raised $4.02 million in July, compared to the $3.84 million raised by the National Republican Congressional Committee. The monthly hauls bring their yearly totals to $37.70 million and $37.38 million, respectively.
