Cain names endorsement date, handicaps race

(CNN) - Herman Cain said Friday he would publicly endorse in the presidential campaign two days before South Carolina's first-in-the-South primary.

The one-time presidential hopeful said on CNN's "The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer" that he has "no regrets" about dropping from the field and would name his "unconventional" endorsement on Thursday, Jan. 19 at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference.

Cain aims to keep 9-9-9 alive

(CNN) – For those who thought '9-9-9' would disappear along with Herman Cain's suspended presidential campaign last month, the former pizza executive wants to prove them wrong.

Cain announced Wednesday he plans to start what he calls "Cain's Solutions Revolution," a "movement" he hopes will spread many of his campaign ideas across the political landscape.

Cain aims to stay involved

(CNN) – Former Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain said Tuesday he had no immediate plans of running for public office again.

But on CNN's "John King, U.S.A.", Cain added he still hopes to play a large role in the political process, saying he believes "the Republican Party is not focused enough."

(CNN) - Herman Cain said Monday Mitt Romney will still face an uphill battle for the nomination even if he wins the first two Republican presidential contests in Iowa and New Hampshire.

"It is not game over," the former GOP White House hopeful said on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight."

The buzzed about commercial from former Republican presidential contender Herman Cain's campaign, featuring his chief of staff smoking, nabbed the ninth spot with over 1.7 million hits while his former rival Rick Perry's Christmas spot received over three times as many clicks.

(CNN) – He's out of the race to be the Republican presidential candidate, so Herman Cain is on the hunt for a new job. His dream job? Secretary of Defense. That's what he told ABC News' Barbara Walters in an interview that aired Wednesday night.

Cain said he was "totally hypothetically" interested in the job.

Cain sees traces of own campaign on debate stage

(CNN) - Pizza executive Herman Cain may have left the race for the 2012 GOP nomination, but the former candidate saw remnants of his campaign during Saturday night’s debate.

Cain, speaking on the Fox News Channel on Monday, said the question directed to candidates about marriage was specifically meant to target former House speaker Newt Gingrich as well as allude to sexual harassment claims levied against Cain.

Cain leaves door open to media gig

(CNN) - Former GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain, who suspended his campaign on Saturday, said he’s considering ways to keep his voice heard in the presidential process.

"Well, obviously the doors to radio or TV, those doors are open," Cain said in an interview on Fox News Thursday night.

Cain accuser says candidate's exit 'bittersweet'

(CNN) – The woman whose public accusation of sexual harassment helped push Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain out of the 2012 race called his decision to suspend the campaign "bittersweet" Monday.

Sharon Bialek told CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight" that she was happy Cain decided to halt his presidential bid - "but it saddened me because even though he did so, he still has not spoken the truth."
