Biden's heading to Ireland?

(CNN) – After some high-level lobbying, it appears that Vice President Joe Biden might soon be headed to Ireland.

“Biden wants to come to Ireland,” President Barack Obama said at the end of a meeting in the Oval Office with Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny on Friday.

Biden jokes presidential run would be bad for his golf game

(CNN) - Vice President Joe Biden suggested Thursday night that running for President wouldn't leave much time to practice his golf game.

At an event in Washington, Taoiseach Enda Kenny offered for Biden to come to Ireland and unload his "golf sticks" from Air Force Two to play a round.

Iowa poll gauges support for presidential retreads

(CNN) – A new survey asked Iowa voters about potential presidential candidates who’ve already run for the White House, and the results show some good news for Republicans Mike Huckabee and Paul Ryan.

But for Rick Santorum, who won the Iowa GOP caucuses in 2012 by a razor-thin margin, and Rick Perry, the results indicate Hawkeye State Republicans aren't quite as excited about the prospects of another presidential bid by the former Pennsylvania senator and the Texas governor. FULL POST

Biden: 2016 is 'lifetimes away'

Washington (CNN) - Vice President Joe Biden says he's "so tired about hearing about the demise of the Democratic Party."

Giving a pep talk Thursday to Democratic Party officials to go on offense as the 2014 midterm election season heats up, the vice president went on to say that "my central message to you is look: I think we should not apologize for a single thing."

Biden jokes 'I may be a white boy, but I can jump'

(CNN) – In another quintessential “Biden” moment, Vice President Joe Biden joked about his basketball skills in Washington on Tuesday.

Known at times for his off-the-cuff remarks, Biden said at an event honoring African-American history month that he and former NBA star Kevin Johnson, now Sacramento’s mayor, could take on the President in a game of hoops.

Biden on 2016: If Hillary runs, it won't affect my decision

(CNN) – Vice President Joe Biden weighed in further Tuesday on his thinking process about a potential 2016 presidential bid and perhaps hinted what a potential campaign theme might look like.

On ABC's "The View," the Democrat said Hillary Clinton's decision on a second presidential campaign would not be a factor as he considers his own White House run.

Biden jokes about 2016 announcement

Had it not been the debut night for Seth Meyers as the new host of NBC’s “Late Night,” Vice President Joe Biden may have revealed his plans for 2016.

The “Saturday Night Live” alum asked the Vice President if he would share his thoughts on a potential presidential run in 2016.

“I was planning on making a major announcement tonight, but I decided tonight’s your night,” Biden joked. “So I hope you’ll invite me back.”

Obamacare success not all about numbers

(CNN) - Vice President Joe Biden said what others have basically conceded - the Obama administration may fall short of its original enrollment target for Obamacare.

That might give critics another reason to attack the health care law, but the acknowledgment is consistent with what number crunchers have said previously.

Biden on health care sign-ups: 'Hell of a start'

(CNN) – Vice President Joe Biden acknowledged that the Obama administration may fall short of its original unofficial target of signing up seven million people to the new health care law by the end of March. But the Vice President said that signing up five to six million would be a good start.

"Initially we talked about by the end of this period having seven million people lined up. We may not get to seven, we may get to five or six, and that's a hell of a start," Biden said Wednesday in Minneapolis.
