Hindus denounce ad attacking Huntsman's faith, values

(CNN) – Republican presidential hopeful Jon Huntsman called it stupid. His rival Ron Paul denounced it. But perhaps most appalled by a "China Jon" ad on YouTube were Hindus in America.

An amateurish video posted by Paul supporter NHLiberty4Paul questions Huntsman's American values, shows Huntsman, a former ambassador to China, speaking in Mandarin and calls him the "Manchurian Candidate."

BLITZER's BLOG: Running for president is a family affair

(CNN) – I remember interviewing Hillary Clinton near the end of her very grueling run for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2008. She had been on the campaign trail for a long time. She had worked really hard, especially in the final months as Barack Obama was challenging her. You could see the strain she was under.

During those tough times, her daughter, Chelsea, suddenly had become very visible on the campaign trail. She spoke for her mother all the time, often introducing her at campaign events, and did very well. You could see how proud Hillary Clinton was.

Huntsman hits Romney ahead of N.H. primary

(CNN) - Asked about Mitt Romney on Thursday, Republican presidential candidate Jon Huntsman described the former Massachusetts governor as an inconsistent candidate.

"What is your core? You run for the Senate as a liberal. You run for governor as a moderate. You run for president as a conservative," Huntsman said on CNN's "John King, U.S.A." "People want to know who you were yesterday and what you're going to be tomorrow."

Boston Globe backs Huntsman

(CNN) - Five days before New Hampshire's first-in-the-nation primary, The Boston Globe gave its nod to Republican presidential hopeful Jon Huntsman, saying he offers the Republican Party an opportunity to "renew itself."

"Rather than merely sketch out policies, he articulates goals and ideals," the Massachusetts paper said of the former Utah governor. "The priorities he would set for the country, from leading the world in renewable energy to retooling education and immigration policies to help American high-tech industries, are far-sighted."
