Washington (CNN) – Minnesota Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann, a darling of the tea party who ran unsuccessfully for the GOP presidential nomination, has won re-election to a fourth term in the House, CNN projects.
Her Democratic challenger Jim Graves, a wealthy businessman, faced long odds against Bachmann, but campaigned on a message that the conservative congresswoman had abandoned her district in her bid for higher office.

The Star Tribune survey, taken entirely after the final presidential debate, shows Obama with a three point advantage over Romney among likely Minnesota voters. Forty-seven percent of respondents said they would back the president and 44% said they support Romney. Obama's advantage is within the survey's sampling error.
Washington (CNN) - President Barack Obama's campaign has made a very small ad buy in Minnesota to counter a new purchase by Mitt Romney in the state, an Obama campaign official and a Republican ad tracking source told CNN.
Earlier Friday a Romney campaign official confirmed it had bought a small amount of television ad time in Minneapolis. Two ad tracking sources told CNN the Romney buy was about $30,000 and would run Saturday through Tuesday. The amount of the Obama buy has not been disclosed.
