Political Circus: 'Dancing' with O'Donnell?

Christine O'Donnell, the headline-grabbing former Republican U.S. Senate candidate, recently announced on her Facebook page that the producers of ABC's hit show "Dancing with the Stars" asked her to be a contestant on the upcoming season.

Father-daughter day?

He may be dealing with a possible government shutdown and turmoil in the Middle East, but that's not stopping President Obama from taking time out for basketball with kids.

On Saturday, the president coached his daughter Sasha's basketball team, according to Politico - even though Sasha was MIA.

Political Circus: Comic takes a 'Rock' to the Tea Party

Washington (CNN) - Politics is serious business - but not all the time.

No tea (party) for you!

Funnyman Chris Rock is known for some controversial takes on politics. His latest target is the Tea Party movement. In an interview with Esquire magazine, Rock equates Tea Partiers to kids, who he says always act up the most right before they go to sleep.

"They're going crazy. They're insane," he said. "You want to get rid of them - and the next thing you know, they're f-ing knocked out."

Justin Bieber recently tried out his impression of President Obama on Conan O'Brien's show.

The 16-year-old heartthrob imitated Obama talking to him when he visited the White House last year, including a stop in the Oval Office.

It's not just Boehner

Former first lady Barbara Bush, in an NBC News interview with her granddaughter - "Today Show" contributor Jenna Hager - said that her husband cries a lot and reminds her of a certain top congressional Republican.

In the interview Monday, President George H.W. Bush began choking up and got teary after he and Mrs. Bush read love notes to each other.
