(CNN)- Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel showed his support for the recently passed New York same-sex marriage law telling CNN's Wolf Blitzer in an interview Wednesday he would support similar legislation in Illinois.

BLITZER'S BLOG: Sitting down with Rahm Emanuel and Bill Clinton in Chicago

Chicago (CNN) - I've covered Rahm Emanuel for many years – going back to 1992 when he was a young political aide to then-Governor Bill Clinton who was running for President.

He later joined President Clinton at the White House before heading back to his native Chicago to make some money in the financial investment business. After that, he came back to Washington as a congressman and remained as President Barack Obama's first White House Chief of Staff. But I must say I have never seen him as enthusiastic and excited as he is now as Mayor of Chicago.

Political Circus: Will the real Mayor Emanuel please stand up?

Washington (CNN) - Politics is serious business - but not all the time.

A big f****** deal

The Atlantic.com has a Twitter exclusive:

"It was the best fake Twitter account ever, deftly satirizing Rahm Emanuel, and elevating the Tweet and the f-word to the level of literature. But the mystery writer was never revealed – until now."

Emanuel aide resigns over ethics violations

(CNN) - A co-chair of Chicago mayor-elect Rahm Emanuel's transition team resigned from her new post Friday after it was revealed that she left her high-level state job last summer over ethics violations, CNN confirmed Saturday.

Judy Erwin previously served as the executive director of the Illinois Board of Higher Education and served on then-candidate Barack Obama's Education Policy Committee during his 2008 presidential campaign. On Thursday, she was named to Emanuel's transition team and according to a news release, Erwin was also recently hired as managing director for ASGK Public Strategies, the communication management firm founded by former Obama senior adviser David Axelrod.

Rahm Emanuel lauds broad support after resounding victory

Chicago, Illinois (CNN) - Rahm Emanuel greeted voters on Chicago's South Side Wednesday morning – the day after his resounding victory to become the city's next mayor.

His choice of an "L" train station in the heart of the city's African American community symbolized his successful efforts to reach out to that community during his campaign. He captured about half of the votes in wards with large populations of African-Americans in Tuesday's election.

Rahm, no longer 'my way or the highway'

(CNN) - Rahm Emanuel was known for bringing Chicago-style politics to Washington – complete with his colorful language and take-no-prisoners-approach to politics.

But in his run for Chicago mayor there's been a new "Rahm style." Emanuel told CNN's National Political Correspondent Jessica Yellin that only pesky reporters make him curse.
