Washington (CNN) - Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney picked up two more big endorsements this week, but neither appears likely to have much impact on sealing the deal for the GOP front-runner.
Tea party favorite Sen. Marco Rubio, often touted as a top possibility to be No. 2 on a GOP ticket, endorsed Romney on Wednesday, telling Fox News that, "It's evidently and increasingly clear that Mitt Romney is going to become the Republican nominee. We have to come together behind who I think has earned the nomination, and that's Mitt Romney."
FULL STORYWashington (CNN) - While none of the Republican candidates have heeded the increasing calls for them to drop out and cede the race to front-runner Mitt Romney, news broke late Tuesday that Newt Gingrich has replaced his campaign manager and is laying off one-third of his staff.
Even with the reorganization, the former speaker of the House has vowed to continue his bid for the presidential nomination.
Washington (CNN) - As the GOP presidential primary and caucus calendar nears its fourth month, a new survey indicates most Republicans would like to see Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul drop their bids for the nomination.

But according to the survey, a majority of Republicans don't want Rick Santorum to end his campaign for the nomination.

(CNN) - Ron Paul on Monday argued that people should not dismiss his candidacy simply because he lags far behind in the fight for the Republican presidential nomination.
“Our people are in the right places. They’re doing the things to become delegates,” Paul said on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight,” adding that it was too soon in the process to “write anybody off.”

Washington (CNN) - Fresh off a big win in Louisiana, Rick Santorum insisted Sunday that Republicans are rejecting the premise that rival Mitt Romney has virtually locked up the GOP presidential nomination.
"Even though a lot of folks are saying this race is over, people in Louisiana said, 'No, it's not,' " Santorum said on the CBS program "Face the Nation" about victory in Saturday's Bayou State primary.
FULL STORY(CNN) - Rick Santorum's convincing win in Louisiana's GOP primary does little to change the delegate math that has rival Mitt Romney with a more than 2-to-1 lead, raising questions about whether he can generate broader appeal to win the nomination.
Santorum told supporters after Saturday's win in Louisiana that the race was far from over, recalling the naysayers who said Ronald Reagan was too conservative to win the nomination.
