FULL STORYWashington (CNN) – House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi said Tuesday she plans to sit with Republican Congressman Roscoe Bartlett of Maryland during the State of the Union address, not House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Virginia, who had invited her to sit with him.
Cantor will instead sit with a Democratic colleague from Virginia, according to spokesman Brad Dayspring.

Washington (CNN) – In a move aimed at tackling the bulging federal deficit, a senior administration official said President Obama will call for a "five-year freeze on non-security discretionary spending," during his State of the Union address Tuesday night.
Mr. Obama also plans to look for other areas to cut and make the government more efficient, the official said.

FULL STORYWashington (CNN) – New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who denies any interest in a presidential run at every turn, has turned down the coveted nationwide opportunity to deliver the Republican response to the State of the Union, a source close to Christie confirmed to CNN.
The source said Christie was offered the chance to give the Republican response following President Obama's address, but declined the invitation. Scheduling difficulties were part of the reason, but the source said "we would have made it work if he had wanted to do it."
