New York (CNNMoney) - Texas Governor Rick Perry has three words of advice for California businesses: Move to Texas.

Perry has launched a high-profile battle for California companies, running radio ads in California touting the Lone Star State's low taxes and favorable business climate. The ads will be heard in San Francisco, Sacramento, Los Angeles, San Diego and the Inland Empire area east of Los Angeles.

Former President George H.W. Bush might leave hospital this week

Washington (CNN) - After spending more than a month in a Houston hospital, former President George H.W. Bush might get to leave this week.

"We are hopeful that he can be discharged this coming week, but we're still taking everything one day at a time," spokesman Jim McGrath said Saturday night.

Planned Parenthood seeks injunction in Texas funding law

(CNN) - Planned Parenthood in Texas heads to federal court Friday, looking for a temporary injunction that would allow it to take part in the state's revamped Women's Health Program.

Late last month, a Texas judge denied the group's request for a temporary restraining order that would have extended the organization's ability to participate.

Bush 41 mending, watches football in hospital

(CNN) - Former President George H.W. Bush continues to recover from his maladies after over a month in a Houston hospital, his office said Monday.

The latest statement on the 41st president's health contained no new details about his condition or treatment, but did allow he had recently been watching football.

Oak Ridge Boys serenade former President Bush in hospital

(CNN) - The Oak Ridge Boys, the gospel-turned-country crooners who had their heyday in the mid-1970s and early 1980s, gave the hospitalized former President George H.W. Bush "a real shot in the arm" on Friday.

"That is great," Bush can be heard saying in a recording provided by the group after their rendition of "Amazing Grace."

Former President George H.W. Bush no longer in intensive care

(CNN) - Former President George H.W. Bush was moved Saturday out of the intensive care unit of the Houston hospital where he has been for more than a month.

"President Bush's condition has improved, so he has been moved today from the intensive care unit to a regular patient room at The Methodist Hospital to continue his recovery," his office said in a statement distributed by spokesman Jim McGrath.

Bush 41 in intensive care with 'stubborn fever'

(CNN) - Former President George H.W. Bush remains in an intensive care unit at a Houston hospital with a "stubborn fever that is slightly elevated," his spokesman told CNN on Wednesday.

He has been in the intensive care unit at Methodist Hospital since Sunday, spokesman Jim McGrath said, and has been hospitalized there for over a month.

Former President George H.W. Bush to remain in hospital over Christmas

(CNN) –Former President George Herbert Walker Bush will remain in a Houston, Texas, hospital over Christmas despite doctors' hopes last week he could be home by the holiday, his spokesman told CNN.

Bush has had a few setbacks in the last week, including a low-grade fever, which have been frustrating to him and his doctors.
