Conan O'Brien to entertain White House Correspondents Dinner

(CNN) - It's the biggest dinner inside the Beltway, and one of the biggest questions surrounding the annual White House Correspondents Dinner is which entertainer will headline the event.

The answer for this year's dinner, which will take place on April 27, is Conan O'Brien, host of the late night talk show "Conan" on TBS. White House Correspondents Association president Ed Henry announced the news Wednesday morning.

Trump finds White House dinner ‘inappropriate’

Washington (CNN) - Donald Trump reacted to the onslaught of jokes about him by President Barack Obama and comedian Seth Meyers at the White House Correspondents Association Dinner Saturday with his own view of the events.

“You get to a certain level and you rise to a certain level, let’s say in this case in the polls and boy, does the world come after you,” Trump, a potential 2012 candidate, said on "Fox and Friends" Sunday.

Obama lampoons Trump, releases 'birth video' at annual dinner

(CNN) – President Barack Obama poked fun at everyone - from his wife to Donald Trump - during the annual White House Correspondents dinner, before ending his speech with a tribute to journalists who brave deadly conditions to get a story.

No one was safe from the president's zings on Saturday night, including Republican presidential challengers.

Guess who's coming to dinner

Washington (CNN) – Saturday night the stars will shine just a bit more brightly in the nation’s capital when the White House Correspondents' Association hosts it annual dinner at the Washington Hilton.

The ballroom will once again be at capacity. All 262 tables are sold out. That means over 2,600 men and women decked out in their finest trying to see and be seen. Here is a list of invited guests scheduled to attend this year’s dinner:

Washington (CNN) - Washington and Hollywood will come together Saturday night.

President Obama will address the annual black tie gathering of Washington's press corps, political establishment as well as actors, actresses, musicians, business people and sports celebrities known as the White House Correspondents Association dinner.
