Christie: Perry is 'wrong' on homosexuality-alcoholism comparison

(CNN) - Gov. Chris Christie said Friday he disagrees with Gov. Rick Perry's recent comments comparing homosexuality to alcoholism.

"I disagree with them. I don't believe that's an apt analogy and not one that should be made because I think it's wrong," the New Jersey Republican told reporters Friday in San Francisco.

Grimes, McConnell pick horses in Kentucky Derby

(CNN) – The political horse race between Sen. Mitch McConnell and Alison Lundergan Grimes takes on a different meaning Saturday, as the Senate candidates picked different favorites for the Kentucky Derby.

McConnell, the Kentucky Republican and Senate Minority Leader, picked "Ride on Curlin," according to his campaign.

Documents reveal details in probe of former Walker aides

(CNN) – When Scott Walker was running for governor of Wisconsin in 2010, the then-Milwaukee County Executive ordered his staff to hold a daily conference call with his political campaign, according to newly released documents Wednesday.

The coordination would be considered illegal under Wisconsin law, as county officials are not allowed to conduct political business on the county's dime.
