A Romney presidency: 'Bringing people together' faces reality check

Milwaukee, Wisconsin (CNN) – During the course of his long run for the presidency, Mitt Romney has consistently presented himself to voters as a "turnaround" artist, or as his supporters have taken to calling him recently, a "Mr. Fix-It."

In making his closing argument to voters that he should have that chance to take his government tool belt to Washington, Romney has vowed to "bring people together," to govern as president.

Romney tries to put PA in play

Norfolk, Virginia (CNN) –In a late campaign push to change the battleground map, Mitt Romney will travel to Pennsylvania on Sunday in the hopes of capturing the traditionally Democratic-leaning state. A Romney campaign official confirmed to CNN the GOP nominee will stop in the Philadelphia area Sunday afternoon.

The Pennsylvania event falls into the Romney campaign's newly adopted strategy of expanding the battleground map in the final week of the race. Top strategists to the GOP nominee targeted Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Minnesota this week for potential gains, pointing to polls in the states that show Romney gaining on the President.

Jeb Bush at Romney event: State and local response really matter

Tampa, Florida (CNN) - At a campaign stop kicking off a swing through Florida for Mitt Romney, the state's former governor Jeb Bush appeared to take a dig at all of the attention paid to the Obama administration's response to Superstorm Sandy.

"My experience in all this emergency response business is that it is the local level and the state level that really matters," Bush said to a crowd of supporters gathered in a Tampa airport hanger.
