Biden accuses Romney camp of 'outrageous lie'

Sarasota, Florida (CNN) - On a day that saw the return to presidential campaigning – with positive, more subdued messages amid Superstorm Sandy's aftermath – Vice President Joe Biden stood out for intensity: charging harder than usual against his Republican opponents after a widely criticized and disputed claim from the Romney campaign.

During a campaign event in Sarasota, Florida, Biden raged against a fresh Romney ad, accusing the GOP nominee of "desperation in the last hours of this campaign," "trying to scare the living devil" out of voters, and of pushing "an outrageous lie."

Biden, Clinton tag team Romney claim on Jeep and China

Youngstown, Ohio (CNN) - It was like watching a tag team of a popular, political heavyweight and a scrappy contender against one fierce and determined opponent.

On Monday, former president Bill Clinton and Vice President Joe Biden entered the arena - battleground Ohio - and launched a double whammy of pushback against a fresh, yet dubious, claim from Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney. Among the duo's fighting words: essentially accusing Romney of stating "the biggest load of bull;" claiming the Republican nominee will say "anything to win;" and raising a question politicians reserve for only the most egregious arguments: "Have they no shame?"

Biden implies Romney, Ryan lack 'moral courage' to condemn rape comments

Kenosha, Wisconsin (CNN) – Vice President Joe Biden on Friday implied that Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan lack the "moral courage" to condemn comments from Republican Senate candidates Richard Mourdock from Indiana earlier this week as well as Missouri's Todd Akin from two months ago.

During a campaign event in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the vice president repeated a line being pushed by the Obama campaign against the Republican presidential nominee and his running mate: that the two are on the wrong side of women's issues.
