Biden: Romney bogged down in '1950s time warp in terms of women'

Greeley, Colorado (CNN) – What might June Cleaver of "Leave it to Beaver" think?

Seizing on Mitt Romney's "binders full of women" comment from Tuesday's presidential debate, Vice President Joe Biden mocked the Republican presidential candidate on Wednesday. And in a twist, Biden added a nostalgic knock, casting Romney as bogged down in a throwback time known more for women as homemakers and doting wives than as powerbrokers keeping pace with men.

Romney camp seizes on 'stunning admission' by Biden

Asheville, North Carolina (CNN) - Mitt Romney's campaign seized on what Republicans called a "stunning admission" made Tuesday by Vice President Joe Biden when he said the middle class "has been buried" the last four years, putting the Obama campaign on defense.

During a campaign event in Charlotte, North Carolina, the vice president reiterated recent attacks against his Republican opponents: claiming that Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan's economic plans would raise taxes on middle class families.

'Queasy stomachs' as Biden plane aborts landing

Charlotte, North Carolina (CNN) – Bad weather caused the plane carrying Vice President Joe Biden to abort its initial landing, creating a rough ride and passenger uncertainty over when the plane could land.

The plane - Air Force Two – attempted to land at the Charlotte Douglas airport for a campaign event. After an initial descent, the military version of a Boeing 757 harshly pulled back up, jolting those on board and raising concern aboard that something was wrong.

Poll: Obama strong among Arab Americans, but less support since '08

Washington (CNN) – A fresh poll of Arab American voters shows a mixed bag of results for Democrats and Republicans ahead of the November elections.

Though President Obama maintains a 24 point lead against Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney among those voters and more Arab Americans have drifted away from the GOP, the poll also shows a double-digit drop in support for the president since his election and a growing number of Arab Americans disassociating themselves from either party.
