Washington (CNN) - Former Democratic Sen. Bob Kerrey has changed his mind and "wants to run" for his old seat in Nebraska, a Democratic source told CNN Monday.

Kerrey told Democratic leaders of his intentions after deciding against a bid earlier in February.
