(CNN) - Former Alaska Sen. Mike Gravel wasn't lucky enough to take the same kind of luxury transportation to the debate in Charleston, South Carolina as most of his Democratic rivals. But he hopes to next time.
"I took the train," Gravel said. "Maybe one of these guys will give me a ride someday."
Six of the eight Democratic candidates raised their hands when asked if they took private or charter flights to South Carolina. Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich was the only other contender who said he did not take a private plane to the debate site.

Heaven forbid they lighten their global footprint and mass commute.
LOL. Global warming policy delivered straight to the ozone layer.
What a bunch of phonies- just like Al Gore.
You can tell how much everyone hates having Gravel up there. But not only is it hilarious, I think it serves an important purpose to have another person there to bring up some relevant, if uncomfortable, issues.
Are you kidding? Hopefully the next President of the United States of America thinks their time is important enough not to waste it on a train.
Clinton, Obama, Edwards and Gore are all a bunch of hypocrites and Earth Killers.
Hopefully the next President thinks that their they should be setting an example for the rest of America, instead of telling us to do one thing and not doing it themselves.
