Hillary hubby to headline Hollywood fundraiser

WASHINGTON (CNN) – Former president Bill Clinton will lend his star power at a Hollywood fundraiser next month on behalf of Sen. Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, CNN has learned.

The fundraiser will be held September 18 at the Brentwood home of David O’Connor, an executive with Creative Artists Agency (CAA), a Hollywood talent agency, and his wife Lona Williams, a movie producer and screenwriter. Also hosting the event are billionaire businessman Ron Burkle, film producers Steven Bing and Scott Budnick, and Michael Kives, an agent with CAA.

Tickets will cost $250 for a cocktail reception and $2,300 for a VIP reception, according to the invitation to the event.

In May, Bing, Budnick, Burkle and Kives hosted a “Young Hollywood” fundraiser for Sen. Clinton at the home of movie director Brett Ratner.

Mr. McCain should remember a few years back that it was he who was "flip flopping" between parties! It is ok to change ones mind, it is not ok to be holier then thou. He is doing what he feels he must, to keep his sinking ship afloat.

Great. The liberal, elite millionaire's club will give a pittance of their wealth for another stage from which they can support their mouthpiece and tell the rest of the country what we should be doing with our middle class dollars. Barbra Striesand gets another night out!

Yeah, this makes sense...because Hollywood is so in tune with the concerns of the general public...the Clintons have always sucked up to Hollywood...the righteous moral compass of America...yeah, whatever.

Bill should be headlining Hillary's fundraiser on September 11th instead. In recognition of their administration's foreign policies, fully supported by Hollywood, that brought new meaning to that date..

Sen. Clinton has done nothing but ride her husband's coattail. She is running her campaign based on experience, but really, what experience does she have other than being the wife of a former president.

Every One seems to have forgoten about Katrina. I guess may be because none of us lost any relatives or friends to Death by drowning. There are still a lot of lingering griveances about Katrina. We need a leader that can unite America on these issues. A leader that would bring about change from the usual way things are done in washington. A Leader that cares about the American People including the people of New Orleans. The Clintons were in charge when the levees were weakning. It just didnt break on their watch. It broke on Bush's watch, The Clinton Administration would have known about it and could have done something about it. They should at least have know about it. But no one did anything. These People do not deserve another shot at leading this great country , Not the Bushes, not the Clintons. Katrina was and is still disgraceful and every government since the hurricane Betsy 1965 ougth to be ashamed of themselves. America please vote for change. Its time to vote for a leader that would be accountable to the American People.

Is is just me, or is Bill starting to look a lot like Barbara Bush?

Anyway, these Hollywood types crack me up. They are like little spoiled rich brats who expect they can just throw out money to get everything they want. Remember all of the Hollywood support that John Kerry got? It didn't help then and it won't help now.

Also, whatever happened to all those Hollywood people who said they would move to Canada if Bush got re-elected. Oh yea, they are sleeping late in their 3000 sq. foot bedrooms in the Hollywood Hills just like they were before.

Hollywood agents and the Clintons have many things in common so it's no surprise that they would run in the same circles. They both lack morals and both will stop at nothing to get their way. They have a very flexible idea of the truth and are shameless in their unwillingness to be accountable for their wrongs.

The only thing surprising about this is that Bill is actually going to be together with Hillary for a small amount of time. For putting up with her, I give him credit.

How sickening can they get? The liberals, I do not really mind giving support as long as a positive nature becomes of all our efforts. Do not see much happening at this juncture. So in an effort to justify all the taxes we pay and what all this fund raising and funding is really used for, how many Americans’ really are concerned about our future is too try a simple test. This is how we can judge how many of us really do pay attention and how many of us really do care about our nation. Copy and paste, edit this comment and send it around.

This is how to accomplish a goal and the goal is to protect our well fare form over the top elite millionaire’s, elected official’s, politicians in general and have our nation’s leaders stop and start too pay attention to the voting people of this nation in stead of just running amok in Washington D.C… paying them self’s over the top wages must come to an end! Too show our nations leaders we are paying attention. If they do not listen to who is paying their over the top wage’s and all the incoming bills, maybe we will stop paying all taxes; then let’s see how they give away all our dollars they do not receive! HERE IT IS IN A NUT SHELL!!! Do not; do the impossible; just do this, its so easy. Do not turn on any computers; do not tune in to any radio or television broadcast at home, work or business, in our vehicles and at your place of employment, no matter where you may be at that time, DO NOT TUNE IN!

If you are already tuned in to any type broadcasting networks at this time; turn them off; on September 11, 2008 at 6.45 am pacific daylight time on Patriot Day and stay home and find out who is really going to receive the beating. Do not purchase any gasoline; do not even leave the house. Stock up, be prepared, watch your favorite videos, or listen to your favorite stored up music in an ipod, find something to do, just do not tune in! Thursday morning. Do not have any American broadcast transmitting for a bare minimum of 24 hours following, This is very little time for US Americans to go without and to sacrifice compared to what our many fighting men and women, their families have endured since the very beginning of this great country, Too show our support for our men and women serving in uniform and American’s Armed Forces. Show our support to crush any illegal immigration into our country, amnesty policies/programs and to rid this country and others of terrorism forever, let’s all stand together and stand tall as a United We Stand Nation as we claim. Well; how about it?

I’ll feel guilty about Democratic contributions from movie stars when Republicans stop taking money from insurance companies, HMOs, real estate developers, defense contractors, big tobacco and big oil.

Every administration makes it's share of mistakes, and the Clinton administration was no exception, but compared to the current administration, who ignored information regarding al Qaida just because it came from the previous administration, and planned from the beginning to effect regime change in Iraq and used 9/11 as an excuse, Clinton was George Washington to Bush's Benedict Arnold.

As far as Hollywood is concerned, it is a business town; they create what sells. If you don't like it, stop buying it, and they will change what they sell. Isn't that what free markets are all about? If it is "liberal" in your view, that should tell you something about the rest of the country.
