WASHINGTON (CNN) - Federal authorities filed a criminal complaint in New Jersey on Monday against three men who have donated money to both Democratic and Republican candidates — the latest big-time campaign donors to have a brush with the law.
Singh Sabharwal, Upinderpal Sabharwal and Jaipreet Sabharwal have been charged with mortgage fraud in a complaint filed in federal court. Singh Sabharwal is the father of Upinderpal and Jaipreet Sabharwal.
The online political Web site The Politico reports the two sons were arrested in August and are currently being held without bail. The father is believed to be in India, but is not considered a fugitive.
In June, Upinderpal Sabharwal gave the legal maximum — $4,600 — to New York Sen. Hillary Clinton's presidential bid.
Sen. Clinton recently returned $850,000 raised by prominent Democratic fundraiser Norman Hsu after it was determined he was charged with investment fraud in the 1990s.
Again with the CROOKS......CLINTONS
and CROOKS!!!
Come on America...we can do better!
Hillary – can't you get anything right?
another HRC donor. Wonder why she would release the information on the 260 donations she received from Hsu. Every week another crooked HRC donor will crawl out of the wood work. Having a hard time keeping up with Obama, HRC?
Hsu! Hsu!! Sabharwal!!!
God bless you Hillary..
Even liberals are seing the light on how phony and crooked she is.
Even with a weak Republican field (IMHO), if the Democrats put her up as the nominee all of her past and present scandals are going to come back and bite Democrats in the tail.
Remember, if she wants to run with the mantra that she was "co-president" along with that comes all the baggage.
