The Donald: Time for Bush to go into 'hiding'

Watch Trump sound off on politics with CNN's Wolf Blitzer.

WASHINGTON (CNN) - Donald Trump has some advice for President Bush if he wants a Republican to win the White House: Hide.

The business mogul and vocal critic of the Bush administration told CNN's Wolf Blitzer Monday that he thinks the president is a "huge liability" for any Republican seeking the White House. Trump went on to say the best thing Bush can do for his party is to go into "hiding."

"I think President Bush has to go into a corner and hide if a Republican is going to get elected," he said. "There is no way he is an asset. He is a huge liability, and he is going to have to do a big, big hiding act if a Republican is going to win."

Once a Republican nominee is determined, Trump added, Bush "should just go into a corner and say 'Okay, that's it. I am finished. It's over.'"

Trump also reiterated his comments to CNN in March that Bush is "probably" the worst president in American history, saying, "We've gone from this tremendous power that was respected all over the world to somewhat of a laughing stock."

Trump just got lucky having money. But that doesn't mean he's got the brain. He can't even handle Rosie (potty mouth) O'Donnell. And by the way, who listens to him anyway.

Trump! Shove Off! Why should you care how the public views Bush. He has by no means been a great president, but he has stood his ground like an American should. And as for Trump, all he is doing is contributing enternally to the demise of our great country with his lame and totally pointless "reality" tv shows. Every time that I ever happened to catch a little of the Apprentice as I was thumbing between channels I saw nothing but a bunch of childish, snobish idiots arguing and plotting to undermind someone else. Made me think of a bunch of Democrates! No president is perfect, but a good president is one that stands their ground. So Donald, go build some more over rated, over budgeted buildings and pray some crackpot like Bin Ladin doesn't try and take a shot at one of them.

Its long overdue for Donald Trump to go into hiding and to shack up with his lover Rosie O Donnell.

Sheesh. Go AWAY Donald Trump, you pompous windbag. What do you know about it anyway?

Donald Trump is full of himself and has made all his money by talking others out of theirs. At least President Bush has not sold us out to our communist enemies like his Democrat counterparts.

I am sooo sick of Donald Trump says this... Donald Trump says that. So, he's very wealthy. Does that mean he has some genius insight into things the rest of us don't? All of these celebrity/actor/wealthy person set should recognize that they aren't any better or smarrter than the rest of us.

Bush shouldn't go into hiding. He's been hiding who and what he really is for years. I wish the media would stop focusing on the 2008 election and watch what he and his evil puppetmaster Cheney are up to. We're all way too distracted by the blessed prospect of enjoying a new and different president.

After appearing all this year and last with his own first lady of TV "Rosie O'Donnell", Trump cannot be expected to be taken seriously or his political rhetoric. Bush clearly has problems, but the last thing he needs is advice from a realtor/airline owner/condo developer/reality TV (need I say more)spokemodel.

    Donald Trump?? What a blowhard!!
He should keep his thoughts and rhetorical blather focused on lightweights like Rosie. I couldn't imagine The Donald as president.
He should cut that horrible looking comb-over as well!
    I think he's insane.
    Just my thoughts...

"gone from this tremendous power...to somewhat of a laughing stock..."? I think Trump must have been talking about HIMSELF! What an idiot. He displayed what a total doofus he is (and a womanizing lecher begging for a sexual discrimination lawsuit) on a CNBC interview today. He was hitting on the CNBC interviewer while spewing idiotic opinions about how "they" lower the fed funds rate but take it away with high oil prices. Does he not understand a free market? Is he a conspiracy theorist that thinks someone is secretly pulling strings on world open-market oil prices? Maybe that's because he earned his money by pulling strings and manipulating people.

Good grief, it's depressing to read the
    comments left by my countrymen.
Is everyone in America on the internet
as poorly educated as these sad sacks?
    Arguing over Trump and Bush!?
    They're both rich and arrogant.
They don't care a bit what any of us
think. They laugh at you and what-
    ever you think you think.

A true patriot to this country can win the white house. Someone who is far from bush and the clintons.

The Donald thinks he is wise, but in reality he is a fool as many of the proud, haughty and liberals are. As Paul wrote to the Corinthians,
    19. "For the wisdom of the world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain." (I Corinthians 3:19-20)

Trump is vain, crafty and thinks he is wise. In reality, he is a fool and if full (fool) of himself.

Another thing he is wrong about is Bush being the worst president ever LOL. I believe that title would belong to the one and only Jimmy Carter.

Bush the worst president ever? Have you forgot Jimmy Carter? It took the greatest president ever, Ronald Reagan, 2 terms to straighten out the mess the peanut farmer left this country in. And he's still out there sticking his nose in places he has no business.

The ignorance in this country is astounding.
    Bush lied blah blah blah.
If so what did everyone else do? Cross their fingers when they spoke out against Sadam?
Hillary? Bill? Kerry? There's quotes ne of them are strong enough leaders and they all get their marching orders from Soros.
Personally I'd love to see Newt go for it.
Have you listened to him? He makes the most sense. We've got to stop this extreme partisan bickering. It's like two idiots in the park arguing who's sh#t doesn't smell.
Blame Clinton, Blame Bush blah blah blah blah blah.
We need to take back our country.
Read Laura Ingrahms book if you have any courage. She too has the right idea.
Donald Trump should stick to Rosie Bashing and we should ignore it.
