The Donald: Time for Bush to go into 'hiding'

Watch Trump sound off on politics with CNN's Wolf Blitzer.

WASHINGTON (CNN) - Donald Trump has some advice for President Bush if he wants a Republican to win the White House: Hide.

The business mogul and vocal critic of the Bush administration told CNN's Wolf Blitzer Monday that he thinks the president is a "huge liability" for any Republican seeking the White House. Trump went on to say the best thing Bush can do for his party is to go into "hiding."

"I think President Bush has to go into a corner and hide if a Republican is going to get elected," he said. "There is no way he is an asset. He is a huge liability, and he is going to have to do a big, big hiding act if a Republican is going to win."

Once a Republican nominee is determined, Trump added, Bush "should just go into a corner and say 'Okay, that's it. I am finished. It's over.'"

Trump also reiterated his comments to CNN in March that Bush is "probably" the worst president in American history, saying, "We've gone from this tremendous power that was respected all over the world to somewhat of a laughing stock."

    It pays to proof read.

Should read: Hillary? Bill? Kerry? There's quotes from all of them about Sadam and his anti UN ways (kicking out the inspectors, WMDs etc.). Hell, Clinton was the one who initiated our national policy of regime change in Iraq. How convenient for the democrats that most people forget what they said and how they voted and prefer to trash one guy. Our president.
Takes more than one guy folks.
None of them (current crop of democrat wanna-bes) are strong enough leaders. None! They all get their marching orders from Soros.
Hillary will say anything and is constantly shifting her stance. She learned to do that from Bill. Any smart voter would see that. The record is out there. The media won't tell you.
We've become collectively stupid. The man on the street is ignorant and disengaged. We get what we deserve.
It's time to take our country back. Please don't give it to the Clintons again. I beg of you.

Donald Trump should shut up and thank the Lord that he was born into an incredibly wealthy family that could, and would, support his failures and successes.

If Democrats win then we might as well start calling America a communist country. Donald Trump needs to stick to what he is good at ...whatever that might be...

As for Bush, he has done a great job...and how dare people insult him for the iraq war or doubt what he does. Democrats need to get over it and respect the people that are fighting for the country that we live in.

The Donald's opinion unlike those of us who can only spit our opinions on these comment pages will reach a much broader audience. It's also important to note that alot of these celebraties have seen alot more of the world than you and I have and just might have a little better insight and knowledge of what's really going on than the rest of us who just know what they've been fed by the controlled media.

Remind me what "The Donald" has done to protect the country, especially back during the Vietnam War era when the pressure of the draft forced most of us red-blooded American males into the armed forces (I, myself, ended up serving in Vietnam and retiring from the Air Force). President Bush, who Trump and other worthless "opinion makers" belittle for his military service and also leadership of our military, should know that Bush graduated from Basic Military Training School as an Honor Graduate in 1968, before getting his commission as an officer in the Texas Air National Guard and going to pilot training, already an achievement few people (including big-mouth Trump) in this country can claim. Bush flew the F-102 Fighter-Interceptor, the sole mission of which was to shoot down Soviet bombers which would be heading toward the U.S. mainland in a nuclear attack. His type unit was never deployed to the Vietnam theater, so he could not have gone there if he had wanted to without leaving his unit and re-training in another aircraft of some type. By the way, brave Donald, it was dangerous, by its nature, to fly any military aircraft, particularly fighter jets, but the F-102 had a worse than normal accident record, as I recall from my tour in the command (Air Defense Command) that controlled them. I happen to be proud of my president and wish Trump would be the one to go into hiding. Please Donald, do us that big favor.

I agree with M. Trump for once. President Bush has destroyed the good name of the Republican Party. His war is a total disaster and so is his views on immigration.

Trump is a clown, like all the liberals in this country. Money obviously does not make you smart.

It is beyond comprehension that anyone in their wildest dreams would fantasize that Bill Clinton or any other person, Republican or Democratic, would have done nothing about 9/11. Bush did the same thing that any other person, even you or me, would have done. He made speeches about how we would bring the person who caused this to justice (still not true after six years) and rallied the support of other nations (which has largely disintegrated due to his incompetence). Name anything that he did that you would not have done if you were president on 9/11, except, of course, for reading "The Pet Goat" while hundreds died in our cities.

Come on People , The Trumpster is right.

First time in history I can remember ,the American dollar is lower than European money.
Big ONE here – There are weapons of mass destruction – Where are they ?

Another Big One – Sadam Husane massacred 20,000 people and hung for it.

Since Bush invaded Iraq- (You did notice I said Bush) – Invaded Iraq, more than 655,000 Iraqis have died (BBC NEWS REPORTS) since 2003.

Who is going to hang for this ?

(655,000 LIVES) This does not include US military Life !

I am not putting down any US military person or individual , I praise their bravery.

Truly, I feel most have died from a Lie of misleading the American people of terrorism everywhere, maybe here ,, maybe there , maybe over yonder.

The fact is , we did not stop terrorist on American soil ,, we definitely can’t stop it chasing ghost on foreign soil. ( Its all smoke and mirrors) if we continue to believe this.

Lets take it Home – Here in the US.

More people are out of work than I have ever seen in my Lifetime – You cannot go by the so-called unemployment rate , because once an individual has maxed out on unemployment benefits the individual just becomes an un-known statistic.

Companies- WoW -this is Huge. Just in the small counties I live in , more than 40 – Large well know companies have called it quits under the bush Administration. Companies that have thrived ever since I was just a small boy.
Last time it was this bad was under the last Bush Administration.

Trump is right – Bush should go hide in shame.

Republicans can't save themselves from George Bush. They let Bush do whatever he wanted from 2001-2006 without oversight and continue to enable this abuser.

Anybody that doesn't see the dire situation he has put the United States in, is like someone driving down the road speeding that just missed the sign that said
"bridge out ahead". Pretty Soon you'll be be falling off that cliff taking your entire country with y ou.
