I didn't misunderstand the resolution. You must understand the dynamic involved. It paves the way to attacking the Republican Guard as "terrorists" based on the lie that they are supplying hi tech IED's to Iraq. That is not a fact that they are or aren't. It is a widely disputed assertion at this point that is not even agreed to in within the intellegence community or the military. Several sophisticated IED factories have be uncovered INSIDE Iraq. There is some intel the raw materials may have come from Syria or Palestine. PLEASE don't fall for the non-binding aspect. It's a "gateway" resolution to get on down the road to attacking Iran. Whey do you think Cheney lobbied so hard to get this passed? It's a first step, a critical first step.

    Oh and also;

She will never do anything to support teachers, laborers or any other middle class profession. She will continue to support outsourcing, under fund programs, and wage wars for political gain. Nothing more. Please wake up.

    To Providence, RI:

I suppose you think she got "tricked" by GW re: the Iraq war vote. She knew what she was doing then (remember all that "executive experience" she has?) and she knows what she is doing now. Or do you honestly think that designating a government entity a terrorist organization doesn't give this government the right to try and take them out?!? If they are terrorists, GW gives them no rights or the country that harbors them. He now has full authority to invade Iran whenever he wants on the premise that he is going after terrorists. Plain and simple.

The teachers union is backing the former first lady of Arkansas. I wonder if they remember that Arkansas ranked 49th in the country in education when she was first lady there?

    All Socialist's Love Her

Hillary Clinton has the so-called answers for everything just like Bill. Her talk is bold, prideful, and belligerent. The outcome of her actions will be more of the same hyprocrisy that she has exemplified most of her life. Her words come forth as lies and more lies. She receives gold stars because of the silver lining to all the promises she makes freely with her new found power.

Socialist's are not sympathetic and moved with compassion for the less fortunate, they are consumed by power. She will say and do anything to get elected. Principles and moral integrity are only in her speeches when she wants to make herself look like she has some.

My mantra is "Anyone But Hillary".

Excuse me, Monica from New York?
Don't you think it's a bit presumptuous to say that you "know most students will support Obama too"?
This is one student who is thrilled to be voting for Hillary.
Furthermore, there is no way you could ever equate Hillary Clinton to being "more of the same" of what we've seen...shall we count the ways?

Yay! Maybe Hillary will let some big union bosses come in and run her campaign, too.

Maybe they can do for Hillary's campaign what they've managed to do for the American auto industry.

The headline "Teachers give Hilary a Gold Star" is misleading. Teacher Unions do not universally represent teachers' best interests. Teacher Unions also consistently endorse democratic candidates (Stroll past your local AFT and NEA office during election season) and since there are many moderate, conservative and apolitical teachers obviously can't be said to accurately represent us. Corrected headline, "AFT gives Hillary a Gold Star".

Jeff Spangler, (fellow Virginian) you can thank a teacher for teaching you how to write your comments and read mine. Also thank him/her for staying up half the night correcting your papers and giving you feedback until you grasped a topic. We have to squish one year's worth of work into 9 months!

I'm convinced that half of this nation is suffering some sort of collective amnesia. If you are currently a college student, you get a pass because you were too young to remember anything about the Clinton years. If you are older than a college student, I know that the past 7 years have been horrible, but there are much better choices than going back to mediocre (which would come with continued division of the country and the scandal du jour). We can do better America.

Clinton & Obama are both CFR members committed to the one-world agenda! Obama is also a moslem an was sworn in by using the Koran.

the only reason unions endorse Hillary is because she's all about big money; she truly is Bush – lite

    Tony Tennessee:

Get your facts straight, Obama is not muslim. You must be referring to Rep. Keith Ellison (Minnesota) who was sworn in with the Koran (once owned by Thomas Jefferson). But hey I guess I can understand why you got them confused, Ellison and Obama are both of African-American decent. BTW Obama is Christian, but I guess you wouldn't care to know that fact either.

You unions are all communists. I can't wait for your rights to be taken away. You'll get mad when you can't feed your children. Then you'll pick up arms with us against tyranny.

Obama was sworn in with a bible. He has a Muslim name–his father's. The sad part, uninformed voters will believe you. I guess that's why they are uninformed.

"But you gotta hand it to anyone who extorts a full year's pay for nine months' work."

Actually, they get barely nine months' pay for nine months of work, which is why so many hold different jobs during the summer.
