Brownback: Iowa could end bid

Kansas Sen. Sam Brownback said he needs to finish at least fourth in Iowa.

WASHINGTON (CNN) - Sen. Sam Brownback, R-Kansas, said in an on-line discussion Wednesday he would drop out of the race for the White House if he did not finish in the top four in Iowa.

In the question and answer session on The Washington Post, a person asked the Kansas Republican, "Is it true that you will drop out of the race if you don't finish in the top 4 in Iowa?"

"That is correct,” Brownback responded. “I need to finish in that group to move on forward."

Brownback's adamant insistence that intelegent design be taught in schools is why I would never vote for him. I have no problem with his religious convictions. It is more the fact that this country needs a presidential leader not a Sunday school teacher.

I would happily vote for suicidal Huckabee before I'd vote for Brownback.

Why wait? When your whole campaign is based on limiting freedoms and rights, like the right to an abortion, it's time to give America a break and quit yammering in their ears about how you know what decisions they should make.

I know Mike from Cleveland. If we could get Clinton, Guiliani, and Thompson to drop out, the race would be so much better. We don't need these lower tier candidates bothering our boys.
