Watch CNN's Ed Henry asses the president's cowboy skills.
WASHINGTON (CNN) - CNN White House Correspondent Ed Henry takes a look at whether President Bush is a "windshield cowboy," as former Mexico President Vicente Fox says in his new book.
I must say that coming from a working class family I have always been offended by Bush's photo-op, costume role playing. Not many cowboys or blue collar workers ever had partial ownership of a Major League Baseball team or owned their own oil company. It's a lot like how he tried to sell himself as the non-politician politician in 2000, even though he's a 3rd generation politician. Good for President Fox, for not buying into Bush's deceitfulness.
"this man [Bush] that actually (unlike yourselves)loves his country and GOD. " Get real.
Liberals also love our–your and my–country and God too. That's exactly why we're so against Bush.
Its not worth the efforts to impeach Bush and Cheney. The time that will be wasted can be utilised in people's business, ending the war, and stop the drain on US treasury. By impeaching this man we will be giving unnecessary coverage to the incompetant Bush and his republican party. Its a matter of time when this whole GOP administration is sent to exile in Crawford Ranch.
He couldn't stay on a segway and can barely ride a bike without injuring himself or someone else. Cowboy, ha, what a joke. I would like to see what happened if he tried to ride a horse. Panzy. I wish he would go back to his New England origins, rather than pretending to be from Texas, when his term is FINALLY up!
Why is Ed Henry reporting on Bush??
We(MediaMatters) have already charged that CNN's Ed Henry selectively edites video to mislead CNN viewers.
"The Family" can not have this at CNN!! He's out or else..
A "windshield cowboy? I like to think of him as the type of American who would proudly drive his full size pick up in a local parade dragging chins behind his truck.
I see that several Texans have posted, noting the Dubya is a carpetbagger. So how come you elected him Governator? Couldn't you recognise his phonyness then?
Those who claim that CNN (or anyone, for that matter) is "pro-Fox" and "anti-Bush"...would you just stop for one minute and list 3 great things that Bush has done for this country? C'mon, he's into seven years now. Hell, I'll take just ONE great thing. Meanwhile, his crimes against the Constitution alone are at best clueless, over-reactive protectionism, at worst, direct treason. Supporting a man because he's President isn't patriotism. The President's oath, literally, is TO THE CONSTITUTION. Republican or Democrat, what's being foisted on our fellow Americans is inherently more dangerous than a dozen hijacked airplanes. God help us all.
Windshield Cowboy? So what does one then call all those Texans who drive around in their pickups with a rifle in the back window, a beer in hand, and a cowboy hat on their head?
Bush is similar to Mao in the last months of Mao's regime – remember the members of his party, creating the illusion of prosperity before each and every train stop?
Mao went to his death thinking his theories on politics actually made China better.
Bush really THINKS he is in reality about his policys and what the americna people want.
It almost seems to me as if "little shrub" might have a touch of early onset alzhiemers...mixing in therre with his sociopathic megalamania...narcissism...
What a frightfully SAD representative for America.
My great-great grandfather, Benjamin Rush (a signer of the delcaration of independence) is most probably rolling in his grave. During the time our founding fathers wer alive, someone like Bush would have been cast out, disgraced and never allowed to influence politics. Remember Benedict Arnold? Traitor!
HERE IS A MAN WANTING TO PROTECT MY COUNTRY!! MY GRANDSONS!! I WILL GO TO BATTLE TO PROTECT THIS NATION AT 55YRS OLD.WHAT WILL HILLARY DO??? WHAT WILL BILL DO??? (NOTHING) JUST SCREW IT ALL UP!!
List 3 great things that Bush has done for this country? –T. Theis

10)Rock solid leader, whose audacity to belittle anti-democracy protesters, the corrupt media and a liberal Congress, made him the target for hate spewing liberals..., thereby revealing for everyone to see, the true nature of these so-called "tolerant progressives", to the delight of the right…
Three things....hmm....that would impact you – multiple terrorist plots foiled.....unemployment rate low....real estate prices high.....good (you guys drinking the Koolaid...its really fun to read....but then I keep thinking "they actually believe this"

I was going to post another comment as to why some privilidged to post under a fictious name...
But after reading your list of Bush's Accomplishments – I realized I wouldn't want to sign my real name to that post either.
I'm sure it won't be long before someone will nix each accomplishment listed by posting a greater Bush Failure.

Who knew? Vicente I thought was pals with W.
Apparently not. I wonder what this is all about...he even makes fun of George's Spanish skills.
Would have to agree with Vicente on his phony cowboy fascade.
Windshield cowboy? Is that when the manure is on the inside of the boots?
yeah, he's a cowboy, Giuliani's an alien from mars, and Cheney, he's Simon Bar Sinister.
