O'Reilly gets in confrontation with Obama staffer

O'Reilly got into a confrontation with an Obama staffer Saturday.

O'Reilly got into a confrontation with an Obama staffer Saturday.

(CNN) - Fox News talk show host Bill O'Reilly had a confrontation with a staffer for Barack Obama’s campaign that the aide and several eyewitnesses claim became physical.

The incident began when O’Reilly tried to get Obama’s attention after a Nashua campaign event. He allegedly began yelling at Obama’s National Trip Director Marvin Nicholson to get out of the way. O’Reilly then, according to eyewitness accounts, shoved the staffer.

Nicholson told CNN O'Reilly grabbed him by the arm and started "pushing" him. Nicholson also said that when he asked O'Reilly to stop pushing him, the talk-show host responded that he was "low class."

O’Reilly soon got Obama’s attention, and the two men spoke briefly.

"They shook hands and Mr. O'Reilly said that he thought Sen. Obama was great and that he loved him, and he'd love to have him on the show," Nicholson said. "And then the senator said that he would think about coming on the show after the primaries."

Then the Secret Service intervened to ask O’Reilly to step back behind the barricade that marked the press area.

Speaking later on Fox News, O'Reilly said he tried to "gently remove" the Obama staffer so his camera could get a shot of the Illinois senator.

"We're sorry we had to have that little confrontation," O'Reilly added, "but no one on this earth is going to block a shot on The O'Reilly Factor. It is not going to happen."

And his behavior surprises who? I'd like to see a celebrity death match between O'Reily and Lou Dobbs.

If Obama is afraid to appear on O'Reilly's show until after the primaries, then he's got something to hide. He know's full well O'Reilly would shake the truth out of him about his background. His muslim background you never hear about on CNN. Its also interesting to see how CNN cleverly filters these comments. They don't call it the Clinton News Network for nothing.

I saw that clip and frankly thought that Obama's staffer was extremely Rude, and you wonder if Obama isn't just as Rude, Guess Obama is Afraid of Bill, Go Bill we are on your side.
And sadly we are told New Hampshire requies no voter registerations, no Id to vote only a utility bill with there name on it. Gee doesn't that make New Hampshire 's primary vote Really Irrevelant? How many Illegals who don't have a right to vote will be there, may even be paid by candidates. They have been known to do it before,
And aren't the democrats suing Indiana for passing a bill Requiring a ID? Tells us Democrats are the ones Really Buying the Illegals vote!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope you at least stiffed him with a left jab followed by an over hand right Bill,,,,My question is why bother ? Obama is not comming on your show,,,,,,,, cnn monitor ,,,you post comments of people who are happy that a candidates son was involved in a car wreck,, but you would not post this comment yesterday when I first posted it ? Look at all the appalled and offended commentors posting above ,,,, too bad there compasion is only one sided,,,, O'Reily is wrong on this one,, he should know better,, it was a waste of time and I'm sure he will pay dearly for it,,, and cnn and the heartless commentors who post crap when something unfortunate makes the news for the republicans is just as wrong,,,, I know, I know, we live in a society where its ok to say and do without concequence,It's part of the "NEW people for change mentality,,, you know where its all about me, where you can kick a person when he is down and feel good about it, where oral sex isnt really considered sex, where you can censor some ones comment on a open forum because it doesn't fit or flow withe the direction you would like the comments to reflect,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Remember that Obama & Clinton are financed by big business and special interest groups Like La Raza, so does any one really believe if they are elected they will support the Little People or the special Interest groups & big business They now Support and have all along? Go check out there voting record before you believe every thing, that comes out of there mouths. Dems & republicians, http://www.congress.org and other sites allow it.
Check out Mitt Romney's record as Gov. as well as Huckabee. And Mccain's is horrible. What he says he supports as with Hillary . Obama, etc is totally different that the garbage they spew during there campaigns. They will all Say anything they Think you want to hear to get elected.
We have never supported a Party, but the candidate, but we see if what they state is true, especially if they have been in Washington or as a Gov.
I want my Vote to be a Responsible one, Not a Gullable one.
And New Hampshire allows any one to vote, Legal citizen or Not. Now that is Scary

"The O'Reilly Factor", Bill O'Reilly is an arrogant bully who sees things as his way or the wrong way. It is about time this arrogant bully was put in his place. Sadly he is in full belief that what he says about himself is actually the truth.

O'Reilly is not alone, I continue to be amazed how much money the public airways are willing to pay to listen and see arrogant bullies who hide under the guise of "political pundits". Enough is enough

Typical. Not typical for a 'right-winger,' specifically. But it IS typical for a voracious news-hound or a paparazzi. Bad form, Bill.

Why would Senator Obama appear to be afraid of going on Mr. O'reilly's show by saying he would think about it, AFTER THE PRIMARIES, unless he is afraid of some tough questions for a change since He knows that most of the questions asked do not get to the heart of the problem and are not really hard to twist?

Hey.. I'm a republican and think someone needs to put a leash on O'Reilly. It's people like him that give conservatism and constitutional law a major black eye... Shame on you O'Reilly!!

Here's hoping he is hit with the assault charges that you or I would have had slapped on us immediately were we to behave the same way...time for ego control BIG time for this loud mouthed blow hard who did much to mislead Americans after 9-11 into believing Bush and Cheney's lies for which America (and Iraq) are now paying terrible prices for.

What an easy revelation. "Low class."!!! Yes, there are those who think think there is a class system in the U.S.A. No doubt we are all low class to this guy.

There is the perception AND the agenda.

Bill, you are the reason for the wording in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, even tho' you may think you're better. That's why there is a push by those in office to destroy the Constitution, and also a Congress which has it's own private set of rules to be certain it doesn't have to deal with life on the same level as :

    "the rest of us".

It should be very easy to get Bill O'Reilly off your face, especially with the cameras rolling, - just start shouting things into the camera about his many perversions.

Of course, a lot of that stuff is quite disgusting (see sweetjesusihatebilloreilly.com). But there are still things you can say in public without getting into trouble yourself. For instance, you can say, "Hey Bill, what about Andrea Mackris?", Makris being the former FOX producer that filed a rather juicy sexual harassment lawsuit against him. O'Reilly is sure to clear out like a roach in sunlight when her name in mentioned, because he doesn't want the world to remember what a pervert he is.

The same trick should also work for anyone who is harassed by his camera ccrew - just look into the camera and start mouthing "Makris" (or some such thing that he can't afford to put on air). That way, even if he cuts out the sound, he still can't use the video.
