Top Giuliani staffers to go without pay

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i.l.cnn.net/cnn/2008/images/01/11/art.giulianistaff.ap.jpg caption="Top Giuliani staffers are going without a salary in January, CNN has learned."] MYRTLE BEACH, South Carolina (CNN) - CNN has learned that top staff members of Rudy Giuliani's presidential campaign were asked to work without pay for the month of January, and perhaps longer, so that campaign resources could be focused on the Florida Republican presidential primary.

Two sources in the campaign, speaking on condition of anonymity, insisted the campaign was not in dire financial straits. A third campaign source, however, said "things are starting to get tight" and that "it was more telling than asking" the senior staff to forgo paychecks beginning the first of the year.

Another source disagreed, saying it was a "voluntary" move by senior staff members "so all of our resources could be targeted toward Florida...Our campaign is not living hand to mouth right now…"

The officials did not immediately provide a number of staffers who were subject to the new policy. Nor would campaign officials disclose the amount of money the campaign had in the bank.

UPDATE: The Giuliani campaign reports as of December 31 it has $12.7 million cash on hand, of which over $7 million can be used for the primary contests.

I hope all American would just give RON PAUL at least 2 minutes of their time to do the tiniest of research on what the Doctor's message is able. I'm absolutely sure they will find DR. PAUL to be exactly what they've been waiting for in a politician. Someone they never thought it was possible. OBAMA is great, he is truly inspirational but compared to DR.PAUL, his "Changes" are nothing but band-aids on a broken leg. The 2 minutes that you dedicate to GOOGLE RON PAUL will forever change your life.

In Obama I believe!!!! Congratulations President Barack Hussein Obama!! Watch out, it's already sealed in the supernatural, just awaiting physical manifestation when the due time comes. Nobody can stop the ONE whom the gods ordained!

"I might add that this was also right after the Clintons moved to New York, when voters were less likely to support her because they feared that she wasn't a New Yorker."

-She's not a New Yorker. hahahahaha

I don't like Hillary, as can be seen on quite a few posts on the CNN Political Ticker. I'm fully aware she's not a native New Yorker.

Calling 911, calling 911..Rudy is going to quick he campaign for '08!!!! how sad it's that Rudy couldn't affort $9-$11 per hour to the people that help him. Maybe he should start giving speech on 911 to his staffers, that might convince them to work for free. He should use what ever money left he got on his campaign for the victim of 911 that he been running on their death. Bye Bye Mr. done nothing for 911!!!!

Remember how Rudy made the firefighters quit digging at Ground Zero for their fallen comrades and the remains of all of the others when they found the gold bars under the WTC that I believe belonged to the Swiss? I could be wrong on the Swiss part. But never the less, he did indeed bring a halt to the recovery effort. I saw it on a dvd that the New York Firefighters unions made. It's on a web site also put together by them. Then he had the police arrest the firefighters who protested this. Rudy, go bye and good riddance to another New World Order shill. 9/11 indeed.

The only reason I'd cheer for Rudy is so he can basically get in Hillary's face in front of a huge audience, and say: "Hillary, you don't have 35 years of experience. You know it, American knows it, stop lying."

I heard that in New York, Rudy made it mandatory that all 7-11's be called 9-11's!
I also heard that Rudy has his watched stopped at 9:11 and uses that as a ploy to say, "Whoa! Look at that! My watch has died and it stopped at 9:11!"

Well, one thing's for sure – Rudy's in his 11th hour of campaigning and is behind the 8th Ball. So much for this loser and his loser supporters.

Maybe this is why Guiliani supports immigrant rights – he needs to get somebody to work his campaign!

Ron Paul, baby! He's awesome, a true conservative but a true human being and NOT a typical (lying, cheating, sell-out) politician like the rest of them up there. Thompson's the only other person I have respect for, but Paul tells the truth and is soooooo incredibly smart...check out all of his economic plans and beliefs. Rudy won't win the nomination and will have to drop out soon, since he won't be winning ANY primaries either. He isn't a true Republican, although I do respect the way he handled (not profited from) 9/11 and the chaos that could have lasted for years there.

Say ,do any of you brain washed people research your candidates or do you go by what they say? Please make sure you know your candidates track record before you vote. Just going by what they say isn't enough. Ask people from the state the candidate is from if the candidate is worth voting for. You may be surprised to hear NY, AR, AZ do not think too highly of the candidates from their state. America needs change and not another president who cares only in his own financial interest. May I recommend you begin your research here:
