Top Giuliani staffers to go without pay

[cnn-photo-caption image= http://i.l.cnn.net/cnn/2008/images/01/11/art.giulianistaff.ap.jpg caption="Top Giuliani staffers are going without a salary in January, CNN has learned."] MYRTLE BEACH, South Carolina (CNN) - CNN has learned that top staff members of Rudy Giuliani's presidential campaign were asked to work without pay for the month of January, and perhaps longer, so that campaign resources could be focused on the Florida Republican presidential primary.

Two sources in the campaign, speaking on condition of anonymity, insisted the campaign was not in dire financial straits. A third campaign source, however, said "things are starting to get tight" and that "it was more telling than asking" the senior staff to forgo paychecks beginning the first of the year.

Another source disagreed, saying it was a "voluntary" move by senior staff members "so all of our resources could be targeted toward Florida...Our campaign is not living hand to mouth right now…"

The officials did not immediately provide a number of staffers who were subject to the new policy. Nor would campaign officials disclose the amount of money the campaign had in the bank.

UPDATE: The Giuliani campaign reports as of December 31 it has $12.7 million cash on hand, of which over $7 million can be used for the primary contests.

Sounds illegal to me! What kind of character does this reveal about someone who doesn't pay his own workers?
Does he get federal funds? Shame on him!!!!!

Rudy is finished. We know it, He knows it, and now he is just doing the "chicken flop" that most FOWL organisms do when the head is cut off.

Bye bye Rudy, and contrary to popular opinion inside your thug police force, "it`s NOT Guliani time"

“We need to borrow $10 billion from China, and then we give it to Musharraf, who is a military dictator, who overthrew an elected government. And then we go to war, we lose all these lives promoting democracy in Iraq. I mean, what’s going on here?” -Ron Paul-

    Rudy's response:

    "Remember 9/11."

I say was it not supposed to be “Remember the Alamo"? or, both? Maybe Rudy needs to ask "Ole Switch Party" Michael Bloomberg for a raise. Is Rudy just in so Michael can run too?

We're talking millions. How much are the 'top staffers' lining their pockets with when not working for free. I smell BS here.

All of them are fools, unenlightened, ignorant and without honor. Be done with the charade and find another total approach. We are in a Peak Everything Era and we whistle about games, games games. People grow up and get a grip. Or just fall into a realm of "entertainment" forever.

Where is the Love? Where is the Courage? These corrupt fools will never produce anything but more suffering.

"Rudy" is stupider than stupid. To support such a creature is to be even more ignorant.

If you people are too stupid to SIMPLY DO THE RESEARCH to prove that Ron Paul is the last hope for this country, then you shall deserve somone like Ghoul-iani or just as bad, McCain, the guy that ate dinner with the commanding officer of the POW camp he was in, while his subordinates ate boiled rat in 4×4 cells. Good thing daddy was an admiral, huh John? Traitor!.

Rudy is the only choice. I do, however, agree that his campaign strategy sux.

A volunteer is someone who works for free serves in a community or for the benefit of natural environment primarily because they choose to do so. The word comes from Latin, and can be translated as will; As in doing something for ones own free will. Many serve through a non-profit organization – sometimes referred to as formal volunteering, but a significant number also serve less formally, either individually or as part of a group.

By definition, a volunteer worker does not get paid or receive compensation for services rendered other than reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses.[1]

Why not go without pay? They already go without a clue.
    VOTE Ron Paul!

For those of you not from New York, you need to learn about the REAL Rooty and stop believing the evening news.

Do you want another president that surrounds himself with known criminals, YES men and NEO-Cons?

There is an insurmoutable amout of public information available that will illustrate Rooty lacks, Leadership, critical thinking skills and judgement when making decisions.

He is hated by the FDNY leaders as well as the rank and file firefighters. The same holds true for the NYPD and most of the civil servant unions in NYC.

He personally tried to financially benefit from the 9/11 fund by trying to collect a management fee for managing the 100 million space bucks to the tune of 20 million dollars.

The idea of Rooty stiffing the campaign workers should come as no surprise for anybody that knows Rooty.

For crying out loud he even looks like a CHEESE EATING RAT!!!

America, turn off the evening news and get informed by researching the candidates on the Internet. The Internet has real people exposing Rooty for the criminal that he is and he knows that they will be waiting for him when he comes to NYC to give him the unwarm welcome that he deserves...

Rooty does not believe in Liberty, Freedom and the Constitution. He even said so himself.

Rooty is NO REPULBICAN or CONSERVATIVE, he opposes just about every key attibute of a REPUBLICAN!

In other words, Rudy's campaign running out of money, and he will be history if he does not win Florida.

On the other hand, I have no doubt that Rudy has made millions out of this presidential campaign by siphoning off tons of money to his personal company or to his friends' companies out of the campaign funds. He made millions out of 9/11 already before the presidential campaign.

Never mind all these phony pretenders including McCain and Giuliani.

Vote for Dr. Ron Paul; he's honest, understands the issues and challenges facing the country, and sincerely wants to bring it back to its constitutional roots.

He is the only candidate of substance and has NEVER voted for a tax increase, no, not once.

The day is very late. There is only one rational choice.

    Vote Dr. Ron Paul.

I'm from New York City and I absolutely hate Giuliani. His is most liberal candidate and an crook. His campaign is going broke because his supporter are reluctant to give any money due to their conscience.
